Not a particularly formal person, I’ve managed to get into my forties without ever buying a suit (sport jackets, dress pants and a tie have always been good enough). However a big meeting with a client and a Christmas party are on the horizon so I figured it was time to grow up.
I walked into Moore’s in Nanaimo later on a Tuesday night and said ‘help’ to Jeff, and boy did he ever help. He took the time to understand the upcoming occasions, as well as other circumstances I’d need a suit. He spent a tonne of time with me trying to figure out my comfort level for different styles, and was able to find a suit that fit extremely well, despite me being a little … um … wider around the belly than the neck measurements would normally suggest.
I walked out very happy with an experience I was dreading in advance, and can’t wait to pick it up after it is tailored.
