I grew up going to the same dentist for 18 years so it was understandable when I moved to Ottawa that I was bit nervous about choosing a new dentist.
I was recommended Dr. Garside by a friend and I myself would have no problems recommending him and his staff to my friends.
I had chosen him because I was told that his office was great for consultations related to the dreaded wisdom teeth. I was having some pain and was taken in right away. The receptionist was great and even though we still had to setup my benefit plan with her they still let me go into my appointment and sort out that fun stuff later.
The hygienists were very gentle and professional and when the doctor joined them he also was very pleasant. My childhood dentist would work on your teeth effortlessly and you rarely ever felt any pain and I was glad that Dr. Garside took the same approach. Nothing is worse than a dentist who rams their gadgets around and hits sensitive spots.
Dr. Garside referred me to a clinic to have those wisdom teeth taken out but that next step was equally as painless.
