Guava’s Shawarma

Awesome stuff. Shawarma is very aromatic and well seasoned and toppings are usually very fresh. The garlic sauce here is a tad more amazing than other places around that I’ve tried which is great. Friendly service mostly too!

Conveniently close to my house but it’s also the best Shawarma place I’ve ever visited. Great service and food!

I had accidentally run into this place while driving back from Ottawa to Toronto and I am so glad I did. This was probably one of the best shawarma I have had in the longest time.
The place could use some help with décor but the food makes up for any downfall.
The chicken and beef were perfectly cooked with the right spices and juices. The beef was literally melting in your mouth, and the garlic was just perfect. Usually the garlic sauce is not authentic enough at a lot of places but they got it just right.
The only regret I have is that this place is too far from Toronto but I will definitely be going back there again when I visit Ottawa!
I would definitely recommend trying their shawarma and potatoes on the side with garlic sauce on top.

I always get the falafel sandwich. It’s delicious! My friend gets the chicken and she says it’s amazing. We go about once a week.

I love this place! It’s always sooo good! We go here all the time and are never disappointed. We’ve been to MANY shawarma places and this is my favourite so far. Great food. Only downside is that it is quite small and hot in there, so I would never stay and eat, we always take it to go.

My first time here after finding out that Google Maps had this store located in the wrong spot! That’s corrected now, so everyone can find it.
Good shawarma and awesome potatoes. You have to try them with a little bit of their garlic sauce. Yum! Will definitely return.

Our family has been eating there regularly (or take out) for the last four years. The food is consistently excellent as shawarmas and other food goes. Try the fried potatoes they are to die for. Fresh ingredients and fast and friendly service has made the a go to restaurant.

Fantastic shawarma, great service, good prices and generous portions. This is my husband and I’s «go-​to» place when we don’t feel like cooking. We’ve been happy customers for 2 years now and I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about going there for a meal.

Guava’s Shawarma is very satisfying. Their shawarma plates are filling. The meat, salad and potatoes are great. Their rice is unique and «okay». Garlic & Hummus is amazing! Unfortunately, the plate portions were on the small side, compared to other shawarma restaurants. Nonetheless, Guava’s plates are still very filling.
Customer service was exceptional from the Manager/​Owner. When I asked for an extra pita wrap, he gave me 3. Many shawarma restaurants frown or even charge extra for more pitas.
The restaurant was extremely hot, like an oven! Guava’s is quite spacious with many tables to sit at. The emptiness of Guava’s was kind of eerie (Saturday), but better empty than super busy.
I would come here again, but not my shawarma restaurant of choice.

Guava’s is a pretty great shawarma place. I’m not sure that I’d call it the best shawarma ever, but it’s up there. the men behind the counter are always very. I always get the falafel sandwich, and most of the time, the falafels are awesome! (crunchy, fresh and warm) however one out of my many trips here, the falafels weren’t very good, they tasted like they’d been sitting for a long time. other than that, I have no complaints.

One of the best Shwarma places in Ottawa, bar none. The food is always good, and the guys behind the counter are always friendly. Oh and its also one of the few things I miss about the neighbourhood
