Timothy’s World Coffee

This is another 3.5 stars, hands down. Upping it to 4 stars for this visit, partly because of the free wifi, good service, and free newspapers.
Actually, here’s an interesting tip for coffee drinkers who find themselves at the newly renovated Bayshore Mall: There’s now a Starbucks on the top floor just above this wing of the mall — where the food court used to be (you’ll find a huge food court at the end of the mall where the sporting goods store used to be). Timothy’s can be found in the wing where Winners is at the end. At the entrance of this wing, there’s a Wireless Wave, and between these 3 places that are within about 20 paces of each other (the 2 coffee shops and the cell phone store), you’ll get free wifi! And there was a plug in the wall to recharge my phone.
But I digress — back to the discussion about the Timothy’s.
First of all, I can’t believe I’m the first person to rate this place! Timothy’s has been in Bayshore for a number of years now, but Dani who runs it has only been doing so for the past 2 or 3 years. It’s relatively small, compared to other Timothy’s outlets, like the one College Square (which Dani also runs), but this one has a few tables so that you can sit and relax and recoup your energy after some serious shopping. They offer the standard delicious array of coffees and hot chocolate. There was only 1 server on duty when we went, but there are more as it gets busier through the day. Mornings are ideal for avoiding the crowds — but good luck with this as Black Friday, Super Saturday, and Wacky Wednesday — AKA the holiday shopping season — approaches!
