Oh man, this place is awesome. It may be a dollar store, but this place literally has everything and anything you need. My favourite part of going here is getting the name brand items for more than half the price. I always get the jumbo Costco-sized shampoo here for bargain bin prices. Seriously. Shampoo and conditioners are normally 7 bucks at London Drugs but I get the jumbo sized for a toonie. Can’t beat that! They have household appliances and furnishings like dishes, cutlery, glassware, etc. for a steal. As well, they have lots of decorations and holiday-themed items available. It’s well laid out too; it gets a bit crowded sometimes, and you have to maneuver around people, but that’s their fault not the store’s. There’s not much to say about customer service. Honestly, it’s a freaking dollar store. They tend to hire quirky, odd people at these places. You’re there to ring up your items and get out. Unless you’re being harassed, I don’t really know what people expect. I like stopping here whenever I need shower stuff or candy for the kids I teach swimming lessons to. I also found awesome redneck wineglasses — mason jars with a stem — at the location in Prince Rupert. You don’t know what you’ll find here sometimes but you definitely won’t be disappointed!

Usually clean, organized, well lit, good selection of products and up to date such as seasonal products. Okay customer service but it’s a dollar store so I’m not going to ask much. I like this store quite a bit and I come here quite often.

This location of Dollarama gets 5 stars for it’s selection and prices and ONESTAR for their rude service. The woman that served us yesterday was so unbelievably rude I was stunned. She barked at everyone, including us, confused whether she was closing her till or not. The store was very busy and she couldn’t have displayed a worse attitude. So sick of this kind of bad customer service that is getting more and more the norm. Don’t take it out on your customers because you hate your job, go find another one… Next time going straight to the manager, don’t have the patience to pander to this nonsense.

Dollarama’s are the best thing in the world. The layout for this one is neat and clean. Items are a hit and miss ’cause new products come in all the time hence that the inventory is changing on a regular basis. This is why I tend to go every 3 weeks when I can just to check things out. I came here specifically to buy some supplies and Canadian souvenirs like patches, pins, buttons and stickers to ID ourselves overseas in Europe in a few days. They love us Canadians.

Dollarama sells the highest quality low priced goods. I bought a Lowe Pro camera bag for 2 dollars. If you shop elsewhere, it’ll cost you at least 15 dollars or more. Very high quality, genuine, and they’re not factory rejects. It came with warranty information and everything. Unfortunately, they sold the camera bags for only several weeks, until it was all sold out. I haven’t seen that kind of deal for camera equipment for a long time.

My other dirty little secret. I had a blast in here for stocking stuffers. Nothing like a spiderman toothbrush and toothpast for a 44 year old man. I like that it has a vast array of items for the picking. I came out with a shopping cart full and only spent about $ 20. No better feeling than that! Take that Wal-Mart!!!

Oh you slut Dollarama. You pimp your cheap toxic goods to the masses. Do you expect us not to grab your goodies for a Loonie? Tell the lazy asses at the corporate office to put something(or anything for that matter) on the site, like a store locator, instead of planning a get rich IPO!
