Freshico Produce Corporation

This friendly little produce market stocks an attractive range of fruits, veggies, and produce, for low prices. I got a full basket of goods for just north of $ 10. They had lots of stuff on special, too. It’s way cheaper than the prices at the Safeway in the same mall.
But the nagging question is, where does it come from? Almost nothing was labelled with country or region of origin. I realize I’m an annoying foodie snob about this, but I like to buy local and seasonal whenever I can.
I can see myself stopping in here again, as it’s close to home, and practically the only produce place in the neighbourhood. There is a Kin’s Farm Market in uptown New West, about 8 blocks away, but Freshico might do in a pinch.
