Magicuts

Jean was pretty awesome. She asked great questions to understand what I was looking for then before cutting confirmed what we had in store. She was confident, friendly and check I was happy as she cut. She was quick and gave né extra styling tips at the end. She mentioned a product but wasn’t pushy. My hair looked fab, just what I’d pictured.

Jenny gave me a perfect haircut — I mean a $ 60 dollar cut but for far far less $ than that. She could be working in a high-​end salon — she’s that good — and fast too! She taught me some really simple but helpful tips — has a really positive energy. Glad I met her and will definitely be booking a haircut with her again!

Jean, the newest member of the Team, is sensational. She is gracious and very kind to me. Her haircuts are beautiful and finishing perfect. I could see she would be excellent as she is perfectly groomed. When the colour does not please her, she redoes it… An amazing staff member.

Trevor cut my hair and I am really happy with my hair cut. He really took his time with my hair. Even though there was a walk-​in that came in, he didn’t rush to finish cutting my hair.

After having a really bad experience at a high-​end salon, I decided to try Magicuts out (since apparently spending more doesn’t mean the result will be any better). I’m so glad I did!
I arrived a couple minutes early for my appointment and was greeted by Trevor. He asked what we would be doing [with my hair]. I had a blonde ombré look going at the bottom half of my hair; the top half was a reddish-​brown. My roots, however, are a dark brown which were coming through and looking horrible. I explained that I wanted the reddish-​brown to be dyed the same colour as my roots, but I wanted to keep the blonde. Essentially, I wanted a reverse ombré (ie. I wanted to make things as complicated as possible).
Trevor was patient with me and understood what I wanted. He got to work on my hair right away and was a pleasure to talk to. He made conversation with me the entire time he worked on my hair, which is something I appreciate.
When he washed out my colour, he asked what I wanted to do to my hair. I stressed that I just wanted a trim. He showed me how much he was going to cut before he cut it, to ask if I was okay with it. I agreed.
He blow-​dried and flat ironed my hair after and applied a split-​end recovery serum to my ends (which I ended up buying with the help of a 30% coupon that Magicuts had).
My hair looked fantastic when he was done with it! I also couldn’t believe the price: it was under $ 100 (before tip, of course)!
It’s over a week later and my hair and colour still look great. A huge thank you to Trevor for making my hair look healthy again!
