Boss. Great experience. The food is fresh and well set out. While not a massive spread the price is right, even the 15.50 all you can eat option is a bargoon compared to other places. Staff were quick and courteous. A happy camper is me.

This place is excellent. They have a good variety of meat and veg to choose from. You can’t beat the value. I wish they offered wraps to go with the stir fry, but other than that no complaints.

The price is decent, and rice and soup are included. I have eaten at a few Mongolian-style restaurants so in my opinion the selection of food is quite small. The restaurant is clean and the service was ok. My wife and I went during dinnertime near the end of the week, so with one waitress for the entire restaurant it was a less than ideal wait for everything from soup and rice to water fill-ups. I recommend going if you can take advantage of the AYCE meal. Anything less than that is an average meal.

Good selection of meat and fresh veg, and several tasty sauces to choose from. No matter what you put in your bowl, you aren’t going to go wrong. We stacked our bowls high and, once grilled, we were served at our table. I’m glad we added the Mongo Wings. Delicious! Give this place a try.

They have snotty, bratty staff that couldn’t be bothered to ever give good service. I had downright awful service when I went a few months ago. Avoid this place like the plague!

Good place to eat noodles Mongolian style. I’d been here twice. Today was superb. The way it works here is you pick up a bowl and stuff it with veggies, noodles, meats, and sauces. When done place the bowl on the counter and label it with your name. The staff will then cook it for you. There’s a round cooking countertop on the side of the restaurant. After about 5 minutes you have your steaming noodles with veggies. The waitress then offers you a cup of rice and a small bowl of clear soup. Likes: fresh, clean, good choice of veggies and meats. There’s even tofu slices for vegetarians. I like the noodle choices. My fave are the tiny ones. The sauces were good. My favorite is the coconut flavoured one and the house sauce. A total of two scoops of sauce would do it. Don’t like: the soup was VERY salty. I know it’s free but this defeats the purpose of a healthy meal. I wish there’s shrimp and maybe fish fillet choices for meat. There’s a sign that says if your food exceeds 6 inches above the rim — you will pay $ 11.95($ 3 more than the regular). I thought the sign is tacky. So come here if you want fresh noodles with veggies just say NO when you’re offered the free soup and DONOT go over 6 inches above the rim(is this even possible?) when you fill your bowl

Excellent little diner near 6th and 6th in New Westminster. The mongolian ACYE is $ 11.95 for lunch or can get a large bowl that’s $ 8.95 and you can fill up past the rim and it also comes with rice and soup. We were all very full. Although it’s small inside we were able to fit 7 people plus a stroller. I would definitely go back here again with my friends and kids.

Fresh ingredients, great people, good prices. The soup and rice that came with my meal were delicious, which is a pleasant surprise, as i have had terrible experience with those at other AYCE restaurants before. The cook was courteous. The sauces were on point, and my bowl was delicious. I would come back more often if it wasn’t so far away. And they have discounts on mondays i think.

All you can eat dinner for $ 14.00. Comes with rice and soup. Pick your protein add your starch pick the veggies you like most, add the sauce you want, Leave the rest to the chef at the grill. Have a seat enjoy the soup as you wait for your dinner to be brought to you. Never worry about cold food here your dinner will arrive perfectly cooked and hot. This is actually the best dinner deal in New Westminster. Service is good. If you haven’t tried this place out you’re missing out on awesome meal for reasonable $.

Excellent restaurant to go when you want to customize your own menu and to stuff yourself with affordable pricing. You grab a bowl, stuff it with your favourite ingredients, pick you own sauce, pass it to the grill and wait at your table. 1 bowl is 8.95 or all you can eat for 11.95 at lunch time. Dinner is bit more pricey. It usually comes with a bowl of rice and soup. When they opened up, they used to have more varieties of soup such as sweet & sour, shredded chicken with corn & egg. But every time I go there now, they only seems to serve 1 kind of soup. Some sort of vegetable soup, not sure what but I know I don’t like it. I wish they make different soup like they used to. I’m really picky when it comes with rice, but they serve okay to good rice, which I enjoy a lot. Overall, it’s a great place to it at. It’s clean, fast, tasty, affordable and fun to customize your own meal. As long as you don’t screw up your sauce picking that is. I’d have 5 stars if there are more soup and suggestion for sauce combination by sauce bar.

With a name like MONGOBONGO, how could you NOT want to try this place? I am very glad we did. We have been to this kind of restaurant before, Mongolian BBQ’S, but normally you pay by weight not by the bowl. Here you get a bowl, as high as you can stack it with meat and veggies, plus a range of sauces and then it is cooked on an open circular grill. A side of rice and a soup starter included with the $ 10 price. Well worth it, very tasty and filling. The décor is chic, classy and yet understated, The restaurant was packed at dinner time… Great change of pace from the usual café fare.

Pretty great, overall the service us nice, soup and rice with your meal. Its like most Mongolian barbeque places, fill a bowl up and they cook it for you. I would give a 4⁄5 but the paid refills get me. If they were offering pop by the can it would make sense. But the pop is on a hose. At $ 1 per refill its a little overpriced.

There are a few Mongolian places now such as Mongo Bongo now. This place does not have as wide selection of meats, veggies, sauces like places such as Mongoli Grill but you pay by the bowl here instead of by weight. There is no seafood, smaller selection of meats and veggies BUT you will only pay $ 8.95 for a bowl that could cost much more at a by weight place. The ambiance is good, nice casual place. Lunch was not too busy during the week when I came to get takeout. Pros: –great value for healthy food –you can customize your meal to an extent Cons: –you be a bit of a wait if you are in a hurry and it is busy –they don’t have suggestions as to what sauces to combine like Mongoli Grill does,(I like to follow directions otherwise I end up with food that is too spicy) Would I go there again? YES! but next time I would opt to eat in.

I have dined here many times. This time was very different. I stopped by on a weekend peak lunch hour and this place was deserted. We were seated right away and explained how to make our food. We picked the One Bowl option. As we make our way to grab our bowls, we see a sign that if we stack our food more than 6″ high, we would be charged the All You Can Eat price! That put me off for a moment. What happened to the art of stacking the food?! This place was unique in that it was not based on weight, but by the number of bowls you ate. Now there is a height limit and I am suppose to grab a ruler somewhere to make sure I do not reach the cut off height? Veggies selection was fresh. Meat was frozen and I expected that. Sauce was good. For those mentioning that the sauces are watered down, just add more scoops of sauce. I recommend 5 to make sure you get a lot of flavour. Soup that came with our meal was good. It was spicy with bits of vegetables. Rice was standard. Service was adequate. The server dropped off the rice once our food was cooked. We received our bowls of soup prior to assembling our food. Server came by to check up on us when we were almost done eating to ask if our food was okay. I think they should remove the height limit sign or charge by weight. Otherwise, customers might not want to come here to eat. We were full after eating our meal and were charged the One Bowl price.

I have been here many times and never had an issue. The ingredients are fresh, the service is wonderful and the price is just right. I wish they had a vegetarian soup of the day option but I’ll just get an extra bowl of veggies to fill up with instead. I recommend this to anyone who likes Mongolian grill places and to some who have never tried it before.

The price is great! The food is good and so was the service. The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t anything different but the price is where they got me. Most places take pleasure in charging you for every single gram. But this place charges by the bowl, and they let you stack the bowl to the ceiling! And if you don’t think that’s enough than you for $ 3 more you can get all you can eat!!! TBH I wish they’d open up in New West Plaza(New West skytrain) :3

This is one of our favourite places to eat in New West. The selection of food isn’t quite as extensive as you might find at some of the other Mongolian restaurants but there’s enough to satisfy your craving, including prawn and tofu options. A nice change here is that it also doesn’t weigh your food so feel free to stack that bowl as high as you’d like. The flat rate is inexpensive and your meal includes rice and soup.
