A Moment In Time

I solely picked this hotel because it was a bed and BREAKFAST. I only have one other bed and breakfast to compare this one to and the owners cooked us a full-​fledged breakfast. We had hot and cold options, we could eat until our stomachs were full, and drinks were unlimited. At this bed and breakfast we weren’t greeted by the owners at this bed and breakfast, instead they had a staff member to meet us. She gets a 5 star because she was honestly a sweetheart. The breakfast however wasn’t as advertised. I don’t know if we got skimmed on because we were the only ones there or what. But we got a fruit cocktail to start (out the can, not fresh fruits), a muffin, and «french toast» which was regular bread with cinnamon whipped cream etc. All in all it was a continental breakfast at most and when I visit a bed and breakfast I expect BREAKFAST (that’s the only reason we go there!). not something I can get at a hotel. Needless to say big disappointment. We were fed canned fruit and bread. wow Most importantly we got scammed because we didn’t get a hot entrée as advertised.
We were the only ones in the house the night we stayed and the key was left for us at the door. Since we were there by ourselves it would have been nice to be moved to a larger room, considering we were given the smallest room in the house. Despite that, everything was clean, there was a small tv and heater in the room which was needed. The bathroom was nice with a large tub, but the shower is tiny so FYI.
I’m just happy the bed and breakfast was clean and there was wifi :)
You can walk or drive to Niagara Falls 15 – 20 min if you choose or it’s a 5 minute drive.
