OK, the only reason why I am not giving this place five stars, is because it is NOT a five star hotel, it is an over century old Victorian. If you are used to five star hotels, or B&B with ubiquitous and obsequious hosts then this place is not for you. However, if you would like to be walking distance from the horseshoe falls, but not right in the middle of the tourist trade I recommend it highly. The garden in the back is beautiful and the hostess a good cook and happy conversationalist. You get your own parking place too, so instead of wrestling with traffic and parking and gratuitous valets, you just get in you car and drive off like you would at home. And there are places you might want to drive to, like wineries or the little tourist town of Niagara on the Lake or just cruise around and enjoy the Canadian ambiance or… it is all your choice because you have easy access to your car and freeways. I highly recommend.

Absolute horrible customer service experience! My and a group of friends made arrangements to visit this bed a breakfast recently as part of a weekend getaway. Unfortunately circumstance prevented me to make the trip, I contacted the hotel the day before to make the aware of my situation. I was told the owner was not in town and would not be till the following week. When calling back to speak to the owner I was told there was nothing she would do to help my situation. Which is very troubling because the situation was completely out of my hand. I know for a fact the B&B was not booked because my friends where still able to make the trip so it is not as though my reservation was the only room left. On top of that I gave 24 hours notice in order for the room to be re-sold. I just think it is absolutely terrible the owner of the property would not try to reach a common ground. I work for a hotel and actually turned down discounted employee rates in order to give this B&B a try, I guess small business no longer care for the little guy!
