We’re on a trip and decided to try this restaurant because it had good ratings and we were craving some upscale Italian food. The service was kind of slow in the beginning but got better later on. There were a lot of small, strange things that stood out to me, like charging an extra fee for splitting bill and splitting meals. They forgot to give us our bread in the beginning, they set the olive oil, balsamic vinegar and butter on the table and then around 10 minutes later they set the bread. Shortly after that our entrees came followed by the appetizers, so their timing was pretty off. In terms of the food it was slightly below average to average(because we were a big group) but costed on the higher end. Things that stood out was the parmesan veil with tomato sauce was pretty bad and seemed like it came from the can. I feel the food was more bland than I thought, because of how much we paid. I wouldn’t want to come back. The restaurant tries to be high end but doesn’t do a great job, not surprising since we are in a tourist area.

Came here for New Years Eve dinner. Everything was amazing! We made a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. All of the staff members were very friendly. The fettuccini amore was fantastic. I would definitely recommend trying it out.

My fiancé and I were looking for a decent Italian place while staying in Niagara and came across this gem. Fabulous atmosphere, delicious food, and the price was what you’d expect for standard linen tablecloth service(more than a diner, but still very affordable). It was so good we came back the next night(unusual for me– I like to explore) and repeated the same great experience. I’m not from the area and can’t say I’m an expert but when people say this is best restaurant in Niagara, I believe them.

Enjoyed this non-tourist restaurant. They don’t charge the dreaded tourist tax which is great! Service is okay. Not great. Food good. Really loves the gnocchi. Wish had offered more varieties of sauces for it. Ate here twice. Both times waitresses sort of disappeared at point but would still return. Décor very cool and bathrooms clean!

Hidden gem in Niagara Falls. Tasty flavours and great service. Our waiter was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He helped us with our order as we would have waaay over ordered. When the food arrived it was on point. And the price was reasonable. I’d go back again anytime.

Great food. Great experience. Our family had a perfect meal from pasta to pizza. The mussels in pesto was a great appetizer. Loved the linguini in clam sauce.

Excellent service and good for a reasonable price! Came here with my family, as we were staying at a hotel nearby for the long weekend. Saw all the amazing reviews and knew we had to try it out. Our server was amazing, friendly, and fast. The pasta selection is great and are priced around $ 20 for a good size portion. My mom ordered tea, and he brought out the entire tea box to let her choose from. I ordered the mushroom risotto with truffle oil. Very delicious! Inside décor and atmosphere is really nice as well. But the bathrooms are crazy cool! They have all separate stall rooms. No ladies or men’s washrooms. The sink has a hand dryer built into the sink, which was super cool. I would highly recommend this place. Great for a date night out.

This place is completely worth it. It is a little bit out of the hustle and bustle of the area which is nice, because it wasn’t too busy for a Saturday night. I ordered a pizza and thought it was pretty decent after the first bite. The waitress came over to see how we were and said that she was taking the pizza back because it didn’t look as good as it should. When my new pizza came out I couldn’t believe how delicious it was! But then again, I thought the«bad one» tasted really good. They also have a fantastic martini menu which was a nice treat.

Our evening at Carpaccio was perfect from beginning to end. Our server Jim was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was awesome!!! The restaurant is beautiful! The renovations were well done! It is wonderful to see the décor brought into the 21st century! We look forward to coming here time and time again.

Excellent fine dining experience. We had the fried calamari and it was some of the lightest and most delicious I have had in awhile. The special was their homemade ravioli and it was very good. Not a perfect 5 star ravioli, but close and very good red sauce(which I substituted from the higher caloric white sauce offering). The place also passed my «meatball» test as they were delicious as a side. Service was near perfect and our server was friendly, attentive and even a little entertaining. plus he steered us well in his recommendations.(Forgot his name but had a short beard and nice white teeth, which my dining partner kept remarking about as well as his handsome qualities. But she’s married and I suspect he was gay so I don’t think a love connection was in the air.) While the prices aren’t cheap, they are worth the price if you are looking a good fine dining experience.

I often visit family in St. Catharines and we almost always go here. It’s one of few restaurants we can all agree on. I went a couple of weeks ago and I saw the renovations and they are beautiful. I thought the restaurant looked nice before but it’s more modern now. They’ve created a couple of party rooms which I thought was great! Now I will make reservations for those rooms since we have lots of kids and it would be more convenient for us. Overall, the food is consistently good. They definitely know what they are doing here. However, this past visit I ordered the Pollo Alla Parmigiana(Chicken Parmesan) and I did not like it. I thought it was bland. The side pasta was good but the chicken wasn’t seasoned well. Also the chicken was a little dry. This being said I tried almost everyone else’s dishes and they were all excellent. Notably my sister-in-law ordered the 4 cheese pasta and it was so yummy! We also ordered a couple of pizzas(Canadese and Milana) and they were both great! The osso buco is wonderful as well. I was surprised by my dish! I definitely will not order it again.

We went here with a group of friends. The renovations are wonderful– the place looks lovely. Our server was very effiecient and sweet. The food was good– the ravioli I had was very tasty-as was the sauce. However there were only about 4 or 5 raviolis– maybe 6 tiny shrimp(canned??) — the shrimp were miniscule! And it was expensive. I don’t need a huge portion of food, but I was disappointed– it was not enough. I rarely order an appetizer because an entrée is usually more than enough. But if you want to fill up, you’ll have to order several! Be prepared for a large bill.

Our first visit here and we were impressed with the menu. The signature dish being carpaccio, we tried the swordfish. Drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with salt and capers, the thinly sliced and nicely presented dish started our meal off well. The wine list was pretty good, although the markup was a little higher than expected. We chose a local wine for $ 33, that’s readily available for retail at $ 14. Main course of gnocchi came in a red pepper cream sauce. Tender and light. The other entrée was a chicken dish, stuffed with arugula and goat cheese, served over veggies and smashed potatoes. The chicken was juicy and well browned, although the stuffing was absent. No sign of goat cheese or arugula. We didn’t have dessert. Service was prompt and courteous. Overall, better than average for the area, but not five star.

Our tour driver recommended Carpaccio’s and said this is where the locals go for Italian food. My wife and I went for dinner and were not disappointed. Caesar salad was seasoned perfectly, with not too much dressing. I had a pizza with pepperoni and prosciutto… it was delicious. My wife had the seafood pasta — the Fra Diavolo and it was great too. A bit spicy, but just how we like it. Tara was our server and was excellent! She was also very knowledgeable on Italian wines. They has a decent wine list in both selection and price. I would definitely dine here again if I come back to Niagara Falls. Great meal!

Food-wise it’s ok, nothing to right home about, but no complaints either, standard Italian fare. Price-wise it’s acceptable as well, food+drinks+tips for two, under $ 80. Service-wise, my server was a little green, but he was polite and eager, the manager came by to each table and was very polite as well. Location is very close to the outlet mall there, and also very good driving distance from the casino area so, it is very convenient. It is easy to find and parking is pretty good.

Our HR Committee at school had a fundraiser at this restaurant and we had no complaints at all. The owner was very friendly and accommodating for our large group, and even made a generous donation towards our cause. I can’t speak about the particular menu items here, because we had an assortment of things, but everything was DELICIOUS. The calamari was my favourite… definitely a hit with everyone. No complaints about the wine either. Definitely a change of pace from the crappy chain restaurants that are typical of the Lundy’s Lane strip.
