Awesome place! Go for a poutine and (if you can manage it) the big jeffro’s plate.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and super value for money!

Worst service, food and prices. Never again! This place won’t last. Waitress should wash her uniform

Brisket is awesome! Staff is friendly, nice clean BBQ joint. Prices are fair having said that, Portions could be a larger. I’ll be back for sure!

Went mid week to this place in early March when it’s essentially a ghost town here. I get most businesses are supposed to be like that in Niagara region so I understand the atmosphere is going to be a bit light.
Based on the reviews here and the menu online it seemed like this was going be a great BBQ place a la a RIB FEST or something. I was expecting good quality meat like at a rib fest but this was terribly mediocre at the very best.
I ordered the «mammoth» meal which is supposed to be pulled pork, brisket and roast chicken with coleslaw and 2 sides. The sides were pathetic. The salad was tiny and made with lettuce and dressing. The coleslaw was put in a little ketchup container, and the fries were overdone and tiny.
The meat itself was VERY pathetic. It was a tiny, served on a medium round dinner plate, which was cut terrible. 3 or 4 cuts of brisket, the pulled pork and the chicken was indistinguishable and there was very little bbq sauce.
This is NOT a rib fest type place OR a great BBQ place that I’ve been to. This was a waste of money and stomach space.

The restaurant is small and nice. The service is good, quick and friendly.
I start with the positive: the Ma’s beans were incredible good. Sweet spicy and tasty.
The salad was fresh with a light oil/​vinegar dressing. Not bad at all but…
and now the sad part starts. The brisket platter was a desaster. No smoke flavour at all, greasy with a lot of fat to cut away. I bet it was just boiled in water and thrown on the smoker to give it an outside color. No crust or smokey marks in pink meat.
Well, for a BBQ the main dish was not even 1*.

So happy we found Jeffro’s! We came here on recommendation from a couple local ladies that we met on the street after walking two miles looking for a dog friendly outdoor seating area! The waitress was so kind and helped us figure out how to feed two hungry vegetarians and a carnivorous dog on a mostly pork menu. The food others got looked awesome and smelled delicious, and I can say for sure don’t forget the fries with gravy! The service was top notch and the atmosphere was rollicking fun. They earned a huge Eh Canadian style from is yanks and our American bulldog! Thank you!

First time eating here on a recommendation from a local friend. Such a refreshing place in the middle of over-​priced mediocre food. This BBQ is TOP NOTCH! We lived in Kansas City for 6 years and my wife grew up there so our bar is set pretty high. This place is one of the best we’ve eaten anywhere let alone Canada. Seriously… eat here! Everyday! :)
Had the big brisket burger and it was melt in your mouth good.

Food was good and satisfying. The people inside were all regulars and really funny and chill so I gave it an extra star. The neighbourhood was pretty dead while we were there so I don’t know how it is on other nights.

Delicious bacon Swiss burger and poutine! We went two nights in a row. The waitress was very nice and the food was amazing!

This restaurant was truly amazing.
It is not very large and I am glad we decided to stop in as it was a spur of a moment decision and I am glad we made it.
The menu is not super extensive but they do what they do well! I ordered the Swiss brisket sandwich with a side of baked beans.
The sandwich was like nothing I have had before and once I picked it up I just could not put it down, Very delicious. I never had tried Poutine before I really have nothing to compare it tooo. It was the best I have ever had :-) But seriously it was really good and I am sure it was going to be delicious regardless of what other I would have tied
Our server was equally awesome treating us like we were invited into her home.
I don’t have a bad word to say about anything or anyone here. It is too bad i do not live closer.

I am kinda new to Niagara Falls and we wanted to go out and have some ribs. The reviews for this place looked like it would be a good place to check out. I must say that I was very disappointed.
Ordered ribs with fries and Ma’s beans.
Presentation of the meal was nice but not practical. The ribs were placed on a bed of fries making it impossible to cut into the ribs without sending fries all over the table. The beans came in a styrofoam container.
I found the meat of the ribs to be somewhat tender however the membrane was left on the ribs making it difficult to cut through and tougher than I was expecting. Most rib joints partially cut the ribs apart as well but this was not done. The beans in my opinion we’re horrendous! I took one small bite and that was enough for me there was an overwhelming smell and taste of beer I wasn’t sure if this was how they were supposed to be or if some was spilled into the beans by accident.
The service was good and our waitress was friendly. I wouldn’t say that she was experienced. She seemed quiet and a little unsure of herself.
I would not recommend eating here but they do have a nice patio for a few drinks outside.

I’m from colorado, and they have great ribs here. Tender and meaty are the real deal, not chemical smoke.

In town on a work trip, I decided to give a local BBQ joint a try. Being a Texas resident, I have high standards. Jeffros doesn’t disappoint. The pulled pork was great and the sides were freaking excellent (get the potato salad!)
Local beers, free wifi, good food and two awesome owners who are always here. This is a place I will be coming back to on future work trips.

My husband and I were looking for a «local» place to grab a bite to eat after a particularly busy (and touristy) day at Niagara Falls and decided on Jeffro’s after reading all the positive reviews. And I’m so glad we did! It’s a spotless and charming place off the beaten tourist path with big garage doors that open up onto a nice patio (I really love that aesthetic, the whole «outside/​inside» thing, especially when the weather is as gorgeous as it is right now). We arrived rather late– about 8pm and the restaurant closes at 9– but the staff was very welcoming. I had the pulled pork and my husband couldn’t decide so he ordered the «Mammoth Meat» plate (not the exact name, but close!). Everything came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The meats are obviously the real deal– someone knows how to do barbecue at Jeffro’s. All the meats (and I’m pretty sure we had them all) were so tender they fell apart, and the sides were outstanding. We had macaroni salad, cole slaw, fries, and baked beans and they were all super tasty. The cole slaw was so good we ordered a third portion. A THIRD. That’s three cole slaws for two people. Darn good cole slaw. We were so full when we left, I basically had to be rolled out.
Definitely check this place out when you’re in the area. If you’re staying in either of the two main hotel areas (Marriott area or Sheraton area), the purple WeGo bus takes you right there and it’s about a three minute ride.
Oh! And free wifi!

Good food. Good service. We had the hangover burger & pulled pork sandwich. They had the usual Canadian beers on tap. Wish they had more unusual beers. I liked the 80s rock station they had on. You can sit outside, but you’ll get bit by Mosquitos.
