I have my husband pick up some Vietnamese to go and they are great! I wish the seafoods dish have more then 2 shrimp.

Bad food, meat overcooked in Phở. Poor service, order was wrong every time we went which is about 4 or 5 times. Waitress never came back to check on us after we got our food. We thought it was the only place in the area but we found phở dao bo in st Catharines which is better then we found phở xyclo in the falls and we only go there now.

Disappointing. I moved to the city in October 2014 and this place is real close by. Went there between 5 – 7 times but stopped going and have never been back there since. The reason is that I can’t taste the«Love» in their food. It’s mediocre-to-low-grade food and the service is quite bad. You feel like you should be grateful for the chance to enter their restaurant. The waitress has a scowl on her face and literally throws the dishes on the table. Sorry but you’re not the only Asian restaurant in the city, and I’d rather drive farther to eat at a much-better place.

We went on a Monday evening, good food horrible service. Don’t expect great customer service… There’s none! You basically do everything yourself(get water, place order etc) there’s one over worked rude lady, who’s so rude and unbelievable it’s funny. don’t ask for anything, just place order and be quiet. If you cause too much havoc she’ll blow!!!

Pretty decent place for Viet food. Not the best, but it’s decent in a pinch, prices are comparable, service is decent. I would give it 3.5 stars.

Came in right on opening with my family of 5 kids and 5 adult. The waitress at this time had an attitude and doesnt know how to control her frustrations. I will never come back here. We also had to ask numerous times for extra plates and my nephews orange juice.

Food had a funny taste. I had the noodles and shrimp soup. The portion was large. You had to write down your order before the waitress came to pick it up. Every table comes with a pot of weak tea. After the meal, I told the waitress that I wanted my bill. She came by five minutes later and told me that it was ready. I sat there for another ten minutes waiting for it before I realized that my bill was on the front desk and that I had to go there to pick it up and pay after identifying my table number. This was a tad confusing.

Very cool place. Authentic food for sure. Service is not your usual for a suit down place, but still had good customer service. Good food!

A warm bowl of phở dac biet after spending a day at Niagara Falls makes your tiredness melted away. Perfect comfort food in this cold weather. I stumbled upon this place after a fail attempt at Phở Xyclo(found out it was closed permanently without any notice on Unilocal). This place is 20 min drive from the Niagara Parks but it was worth the drive. Pros: Plenty of parking spaces. The servers were not the friendliest that you can find elsewhere but they were sufficient. I ordered Phở Dac Biet in small and the amount was perfect. The broth is pretty good compared to some other Phở restaurants in downtown Toronto.(pretty sure there is MSG in it but a little is not too bad for you) They even have a separate room for smokers(not that I’m a fan of it since smoking is not even allowed insides the restaurants in California which is where I’m from). Cons: Serving time is kinda slow since I only ordered a bowl of Phở(I used to work at a Phở restaurant so I know how fast this soup can be served and I came in when the place wasn’t crowded) Washroom is dirty. I guess they don’t have enough workers to keep up with the work. Overall, I would come back to this place next time I visit Niagara Falls again.

I’m a local neighbour, and I used to go to this restaurant about 2~3 times per week. Food quality is good for its price and taste is okay too. only problem with Phở Vietnam 999 is their customer service. None of their server cares about their customer as soon as they serve the food. never bother about refilling a tea pot, cup, etc. On top of that the older lady(believe she is the owner) is always aggressive and angry at the customer(from myself, and other local customer’s point of view) Last time I went there was about a week and a half ago. She literally dropped our dish on the table as if she was extremely angry at us and this happened all the time whenever she served us *though I was nice enough to tip her 20% of my bill Every time I dine at Phở Vietnam 999 I tip them enough, willing to get a better service for my next visit but seems like they never cares. As other comment talks about, messing up an order is understandable since most of them are not native English speakers BUT They really need to learn more about the CUSTOMERCARE. WEDESERVEBETTERSERVICEFROMYOUGUYS. until I here from local neighbours that their service got better, I’m never going to visit them again and never going to recommend this place to my friends, family etc.

Unpretentious, frills-free, and an amazing god-send in a depressingly touristy place. The phở is authentic and generous — comparable to what you’d get in Vietnam.

Noticed this place on the drive from our hotel to Niagara Falls, and stopped in later that night for a late dinner. We were not disappointed. The service was fast, the portions were appropriately large and the phở was good. Also, they have durian milkshakes, much to the delight of my Indonesian husband. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

The phở was excellent, the seat is very big and comfortable. Love the indoor décor, it make it looks like an old dinner, but the owner is an Asian. Anything besides it, the service wasn’t so good, the lady does nit smile at all, and later when we are paying the bill with credit card, they wants US dollar for currency exchange. So we felt cheated at the moment. So before you go, be prepared.

What a surprise to find this gem in all places Niagara Falls. Lindsey and I were driving back to Toronto from Niagara after a long day at work and wanted something quick and easy for lunch. I think this is the best Phở Ga I have had with the exception of a place I once visited in Vietnam. I will definitely make this a regular stop when I am in the area. Very clean and bright and enjoyable.

My perfect description for this place is the McDonalds of Phở. As in; it’s fast food but in terms of service, anything you want, you have to ask for it. The portion sizes were huge and a great value for their price. I’ve only tried two other phở places, but this one I liked the best. I had pad thai for $ 10.99 and shared a bowl of soup with beef(medium) for about $ 8. The broth was so good! The pad thai was so good! I had an enormous amount of left overs. The food came out EXTREMELY fast. Each table gets a pot of tea and most things you need are on the side of the table. We went and got our own water and we had to go up to the counter to get the bill and pay. No biggie. The only thing I disliked: it was SO cold in there. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCOLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. Dress warm. Even the soup wasn’t warming me up, it was so cold. Corner of Thorold Stone Road and Montrose. Beside A&W’s.

This is my favourite phở place in the city. The portion size, price, and tastiness holds its own with many of the better phở places in Toronto and Ottawa(but not Vietnam, sorry). Service is always fast and sometimes friendly. I leave here always stuffed, always satisfied, and always smelling like phở noodles. It’s awesome!

Phở Vietnam 999 has become our favorite restaurant for noodle soup in Niagara. The food is plentiful and taste great. The restaurant is clean and quiet. They’ve made a good job of converting the old diner into a comfortable place. We always order the same thing, so I’m not sure how the rest of the menu holds up but the Phở is very tasty with plenty meat, and the fresh rolls are that fresh. We’re there one a month, sometimes more as we know we’ll get a good meal at a great price. Hot soup on a cold night… Can’t beat that.
