I echo the other reviews that it’s not a fancy celler/winery. But it has a small cozy charm that other winery lack. I forgot the name of the Asian guy who serve us but he was great. He was suggested other winery on the route and some possible places for dinner. Tasting is $ 5 and its delicious to every drop

Not near as fancy as some of the destination wineries we visited. Again, a fancy building doesn’t always indicate the quality of the wine. On this day, the owner winemaker was behind the bar and pouring the tastes. I always enjoy those types of tastings, where you can talk with the winemaker and hear his passion for his wines. My wife and I ended up trying five wines, since we often share, just to get a taste. We had the 2011 Merlot, the 2011 Pinot Noir, the 2011 Baco Noir, the 2011 Malbec reserve, and the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon reserve. Oddly enough, I liked the Malbec the best.

One of the small winery in Niagara on the lake region. Nothing fancy in tasting room but you will see various selection of whites, reds and dessert wine. Staff told me Pillitteri winery is their cousin winery. My favorite from Riverview winery is 2010 Syrah. So smooth and powerful full-bodied Syrah($ 29.95). Staff who helped our tasting was so knowledgable and helpful, tasting itself was good ‘experience’ to learn about wine and how to enjoy wine. 2009 Cabernet franc icewine was good also.
