The Submarine Place

Great sub place, cold, hot subs and more! Superb service. Excellent lunch on our trip to Timmins, ON.

The subs are awesome. They’re specialized here. The service is nice, the ambience chilled out. I do love a good sub. The fries are sometimes excessively greasy, but they’re still good.
I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick fix of grub, definitely lets you kick back with a legit sandwich with some buds. At least try one of the subs once.
I come by here every week or two, but I have a number of favorite places to go to, I like to diversify. I’m not an eat-​out kind of guy, but still it’s a great place to go to on the semi-​regular. I recommend it for sure.

This is a great place to have a great sub. I absolutely love the assorted sub, with onions on white bread — heated. It doesn’t get better than that!
I’ve been coming for years. I started coming here when I was a teen. Back when this place was located on Algonquin next to «Bayview Video». The same people operate it, the food is as delicious now as it was then.
Friendly staff, most have been there for years too.

The Sub Place is great man food. I tend to go there to get a greasy hangover fix. I’ve heard good things about the chicken sandwich. Just about everything is awesome there!

Had to change my star rating to a 2.5 star, the Greek Food comes with a sad looking greek salad and no more potatoes and rice, you get french fries, sigh, disappointing :(The subs are still better then Subway or Mr. Sub
GREAT FOOD!!! Its really crazy at lunch time as they are so busy, the Greek food is amazing and portion size is huge.

Best sub place ever! by far my favorite sub place, they have a great menu, lots of stuff besides subs!!! but nothing beats just a plain assorted sub :)

Best subs in the world! I constantly look to see if I can find a place down south in Toronto (where I currently live) which will come close or even rival this place but I have found no such place thus far.
On top of having the most delicious subs in the world the staff here are all incredibly friendly. Watch out though, get into a conversation with them and be prepared to spend your afternoon standing at the counter making a new friend: P
Get their BBQ Chicken Sub and be prepared to burst by the time you get near the end of it. The food served here is all in extremely generous portions which is one of the reasons I love this place. When I am going to spend money on fast food I don’t want to leave still hungry.
Also they have an awesome deal where if you buy one full length sub and a drink you get the second sub for only $ 4.
This is #1 on my must-​eat-​at-​if-​visting-​North-​Bay list. Every time I visit home I make sure I stop here. The staff are almost like family to me now.
