I’m writing this as a follow up to my previous negative review. The employee in question has since been let go and the owner has gone over and above all my expectations to rectify the problem. He is very considerate, fair and I would highly recommend them. Make sure you see Thai Tran if you go in. He’s the owner and he’s wonderful. He followed up with my review and did everything he could to fix the issue at hand.

Warning… do not buy jewellery from malls…
My opinion is that any time you see massive sales in a jewellery store you are looking at prices that are so massively inflated that they can afford to knock off a significant amount and still make enough profit to pay rent, salaries and advertising. This is what we saw when we were walking around Cap mall near the early stages of checking out engagement rings.
I found the quality of the rings we checked out to be fairly low for the prices being asked. This was including a heavy sale discount. The staff was friendly enough, but everything else was a put off. One of the diamonds we were checking out was also so dirty we asked the staff rep to give it a quick steam clean so we could actually see how much, or little, it sparkled.
Unfortunately, I can’t say much more. We had a whole afternoon ahead of us and I didn’t want to spend it here.
