Worst experience I ever had with a service company. I signed a contract for the 2014⁄2015 season which guarantees snow removal within 24 hours after snowstorm’s end if the snow accumulation exceeds 2 inches. They never showed up for the first large snow storm and they later claimed that they actually did! In the second one, after many phone calls, they showed up more than 48 hours after the storm’s end and did such a poor job for less than 5 minutes, I had to clean it up myself. They blamed«equipment breakdown» for the delay. So, I decided to cancel the contract and asked for the outstanding pro-rated balance. After many promises to pay, I never got any money back. They even tried to cash my post-dated cheque that I gave them for the second half of the season after I cancelled the contract! Luckily, I had put a stop-payment on it. By the way, the address that they have on their website and on their contract is only a mailbox and the«suite» number in the address is the mailbox number. So, good luck if you want to see or speak to a real person. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Watch the video, it is quite charming, and none of it is true. «Our snowmen have a 12 hour route(on average). this means that the first accumulation is guranteed to be cleared within 24 hours of the snowfall’s end. The second accumulation(if any) is guaranteed to be cleared within 24 hours therafter. Our customer service representatives are ready and willing to help you should you have any immediate circumstances that require expidited attention.» «We work quickly and efficiently» — NO — 3 – 4 days maybe, after a snowfall! I tried to get to know my snowman, he never came. I called and called and called and got excuses; truck broke down; they are in Brampton where they got more snow, etc. Your promise, «a hassle free winter and a snow free property,» that I have yet to experience. We have had only 3 snow falls, with more than 5 cm of snow and no one has come to my property within the 24hours after a snowfall, or 48 hours or 3 days! After 3 days, as Frosty The Snowman did not show up, I had to get someone to do my walkway, my front entrance — so what is Mr. Snowman going to do? I called in December after not getting anywhere with their spokesperson on the phone that gave me no indication when I would get service. I asked for Owner/Operator of the company to call me as they have not fulfilled their contract, I wanted nothing to do with Frosty the Snowman; asked them to remove their sign, which is embarrassing as the neighbours see what kind of service I get, and Chris did not call me back. I got this service as I was having surgeries and didn’t want to worry about the snow removal. So Frosty the Snowman then gives my address to a contractor guy to call me and tell me that he is now looking after my property and that I am a priority. So it snows more than 5 cm and NOSHOW again. So I call Michael and he said they don’t come out when it is going to melt. I was then emailed an invoice for the remainder of the contract, which they canceled; however I felt they still owed me for work that they GUARANTEED to do, and they didn’t do the work, so don’t expect any more $$ from me. This has not been a good experience at all! If this is the service that Frost the Snowman providew for 3 snowfalls, wonder what you would do if we had a real Canadian Winter?
