I’ve been to Buddha Bar twice, both on a Wednesday night with VIP seating and bottle service. It’s a very small lounge directly beside Tila Tequila in the Market, right in the middle of restaurants and other nightlife. The bathrooms are as small as a closet, with one stall for the women and one stall and urinal for the men. This might seem like a terrible idea to have a bunch of alcohol-fueled girls needing to pee all waiting for the same stall. BUT somehow we all end up bonding over our impatience, and guaranteed you’ll run into another girlfriend of yours in line. The place was never too crazy packed either time, but definitely very full. This was great because no one likes feeling claustrophobic anyway. Service at our table was great — they were really fast and they never let the table build up with glasses. They came regularly to check on ice and mixers, and to see if we needed anything else. There is incredibly friendly and amazing staff. They are all so sweet and never rude or too serious like some bar staff can get with a crowd. The DJ plays a variety of music, but I really appreciate him throwing some old school hip-hop and 90s favourites :) A great time, every time!
