I will start with stating that this place has expensive gelato! You get less for your dollar compared to other downtown locations. They also charge $ 0.60 for samples, which I was told are limited to 3, so if you don’t find a flavour you like, you’re out of luck. I have never been charged for samples before, so that was interesting. With a small you only have the option of the one flavour, so I chose birthday cake. This was despite a pushy employee trying to up sell me to a medium, which she told me several times is «a WAY better value» while ignoring that I didn’t want that much gelato. She finally let me order a small which came in at $ 5.10. The gelato was okay. The taste was pretty artificial and at the halfway point became too sweet. Overall, this didn’t leave me screaming for ice cream.

Wish I could give this a 3.5, not the best crepes I have had but certainly hits the spot.
I have tried the breakfast crêpe, viva chicken and the black and red. All of them give you a lot for your money and left me full after each one. They are not stingy on the filling and willing to make the crêpe crispy if you ask.
The gelato was ok– so not sure if I would go back for that but not a bad addition to a sweet crêpe :)

This place has the most delicious gelato I’ve ever tasted. I have to resist the temptation to not go every week because I don’t want to go broke while on a mission to try out all their flavours. My favourite so far has been the pomegranate one. I gave ⁴⁄₅ because customer service could be better.
