Tomorrow, I am headed back to Globo to return my THIRDPAIR of winter boots which have completely broken in less than 2 weeks of wearing. First pair, I thought maybe it was a manufacturing problem(the rubber on the bottom of the boot tore from the toe to the bridge of my foot). Second pair, I was plainly confused about(same issue as first despite being a completely type). Now the third has got me completely fed up with this place(fabric part of boot is tearing). Despite urging the staff each time that my job is highly oriented outdoors and that the boots will endure a great amount of wear and tear, the clearly poorly-product-educated staff has yet to fail to guarantee satisfaction on THREEDIFFERENTPAIRS of boots which each lasted less than 2 weeks. The exchange process is very convenient and great but the quality is below poor. I’ve spent $ 35 on some Payless boots which have lasted me 50x longer than these $ 120 pieces of garbage. Not to mention that all the staff is very young and are often caught saying«I don’t know» or looking uncertain at my questions. On a side note, the entire male staff is completely untrained in the women’s department, and vice versa, which seems completely ridiculous to me. That’s only half of the store that they need to know and they still seem unfamiliar with the products! Even when they’re in season! I am demanding my money back and spending it on something of higher quality and suggest you do that same.

I’m a big fan of Globo! I always find my winter/fall boots here, without a doubt. I love shopping here since I don’t have to pay for parking, and there’s Ikea, Chapters and therefore coffee nearby. They staff are friendly, but not in your face like some shoe stores, which I really appreciate since I’m quite the indecisive shopper! Globo always has a ton of selection, from trendy to functional and a good selection of running shoes. Obviously, they have an awesome selection of bags and other accessories as well. This is almost always the one place I return to after I’ve tried shopping at a bunch of other stores, when in reality, I should have probably started here in the first place. They have a good range in price as well, so you can get something for that one special outfit and not break the bank, or invest in a good pair of leather boots. Also, not that I’ve ever been in it, but they have a really large selection of kids shoes as well, which I’m sure is helpful for those parents out there who don’t want to make the trek to a children’s-only shoe store. Yaaaay shoes!
