Limited seating, as there are only three small tables. But they do dilivery. The traiditional Japanese Sushi and combo is good. You can have a try.

I ordered bim bim bop and some handrolls and their food is tops! They delivered promptly, but more importantly the food is amazing. I will be ordering there again. I can’t wait to try more items from their menu

It’s been a while since I was there(I used to live next door) but I have very fond memories of Kochu. The bibimbap and spicy pork are really delicious. The sides and snacks are OK. I used the online ordering system on their website and my food was ready very quickly.

Excellent, fresh food. Quick and courteous staff. Very decent prices. Clean. Well ventilated. I could tell the shrimp in the sushi was freshly fried as it was warm, in the right way. Kamikazi was delicious and generous. A+ for Kochu!

Kochu is my go to sushi place. They do a lovely presentation and the serving sizes are good. I also love that they deliver and you can pay via paypal including tip, so it’s an easy transaction. The only downside is that it’s a little pricey and occasionally, the sashimi is cut a little thinly. The rolls are so good, though. Craving Salmon is my favourite. I’m craving it now…

Kochu offers take-out style sushi and Korean food with limited, bar seating. The menu offers typical sushi/Korean food with few options for vegetarians. I had the chance to eat at Kochu, and the food was sub-par. The take out combos were more expensive compared to other sushi take-out restaurants. What really got me was the fact that my sushi and sashi was still frozen when it was served to me. I understand that many sushi restaurants in Canada freeze and then thaw their raw fish to prevent parasites. However, serving frozen sushi is just careless. What’s worse is that when I told the two ladies working at Kochu that my fish was still frozen, they both shrugged and went about their business.

Stopped in for a noodle lunch. Would be five stars if portions were 20% larger or prices were 20% less. Food and service is fine.

I went to Kochu last night for the first time and it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in awhile. My boyfriend and I decided to try a variety of their sushi, so we ordered sweet potato sushi, avocado and cream cheese sushi, red snapper sushi and inari. It was prepared in front of us by an incredible sushi chef with a flair for perfection and presentation. Every piece of sushi was delicious and we were sad to see our trays become empty, but also so satisfied with the meal we just ate. This is a fairly new sushi restaurant that more so specializes in take out since it’s so tiny with limited seating area. They only have room to seat six people at the three small tables. They offer sushi and Korean food at reasonable prices and they also cater and offer delivery on large orders. They’re located next to the Lieutenant’s Pub, so due to their sunken location, it can be hard to spot this place while on the other side of Elgin Street.
