This LIDS location lacks a basic business tenet — good customer service. I don’t make it out to Bayshore very often, but I am compelled to check out the Kangol hat offerings, always being a sucker for a good sale. I have been here a few times this year and on each occasion, the employees could not be less helpful. No eye contact, no smile. No greeting, no human contact. Is it too much to at least acknowledge my existence? There’s a definite vibe of pompous entitlement with the ‘sales’ staff. I hate that this store sells jerseys and other sports apparel — like there isn’t enough already offered at Bayshore! The icing on the cake for me was I couldn’t find the Kangol products on my last visit. They were buried, basically out of sight. If you seek this store out, do it to get your maverick badge. It can be found on the second floor of the shopping centre, close to the Bay. The layout seems brutal to me. The store is long and narrow, packed with trickets and apparel that basically get in the way. I’ve had bad experiences at most LIDS in the nation’s capital, but this location has been by far, the worst. It’s unfortunate that management does not find it imperative to provide clients with a pleasing shopping experience. If anyone from management or corporate wants a fight, know that because you offer Kangol product — I took the time and effort to write this review AND add your business to Unilocal. STEPURGAMEUPLIDS!
