Good breakfast. Good quality food, well prepared.
Nice outdoor dining option. They let us sit by the fence so we could be with our dog (on the outside.) Hostess very friendly, brought our dog water.
Dislikes:
No lunch till noon?
Wanted $ 5 extra to add cheese and onion to eggs. That’s considered an omelette?

Good spot, service was great. Mark and I wanted to split which I was told would cost $ 1.50 extra. I thought that was ridiculous. Was given a free coffee on this freezing Ottawa day. Bathroom where as cold as outside. Otherwise great food, great service, great atmosphere

My waiter disappeared for long stretches of time. The smoked meat sandwich was adequate but I finished off with a slice of carrot cake that was very stale.

Went here for breakfast, it was really forgettable. Portions weren’t that big and the food was average in terms of tastiness (except the pancakes, which were thin and very bland). Coffee was blah. The waiter was courteous, however when I asked him if the bagels were Montréal style he looked at me like I had two heads (how someone at a breakfast joint in Ottawa can not know that, I have to wonder). I didn’t want to risk getting a lump of lukewarm dough, so I ordered eggs and meat.

First time visiting Ottawa. Love the breakfast here. Near the parliament hill. We ordered breakfast special. It tasted good. It’s wonderful having strawberry sauce on the side.

Delicious, huge club sandwich! The chicken and bacon were fresh and the toppings were piled high. The fries didn’t taste fresh, as if they had been sitting out of the fryer for a while. The coleslaw was okay but I would have preferred it to be a bit sweeter. The bartender was quick and friendly.

Arrived and seated at ~12:10pm. Waited 15 minutes before our order was taken, then another 30 minutes before we got our food. Server did not even notice our long wait and had not once to come by to apologize for the slowness.
Food was mediocre at best; portion is large though.
