No Frills Grocery Store

I love me a No Frills! I used to frequent this discount grocery chain when I lived in London, Ontario and was so bummed that I couldn’t find one in Ottawa. The only one if noticed was in Renfrew and that is just too far!
When I started spending more time in Orleans the past few months, I discovered that they not only have a No Frills, but that it’s an AWESOME location! This place is huge and has a great selection, while maintaining the super cost-​effectiveness that they are known for. The store isn’t as pretty as a Loblaws, but I don’t really care. I’m here for good deals and good food, and boy, I found them!
I love that they sell President’s Choice products here as that’s the main reason I shop at Loblaws over other stores. I find the produce here really good, especially for a discount grocery store. They also have a decent meat section, although no fresh fish here.
Don’t forget your quarter! The carts have a locking system like the ones at Farm Boy. I always leave mine in to give some good karma to someone else :)

What a great grocery store! I have never been to a No Frills grocery store, so I had no expectations. Let me tell you that this place was by far the cheapest grocery store I’ve been to. I’ve been to the Farm Boy in Orleans and the Superstore (both are fairly expensive).
I saw watermelons for $ 3.97!!! I bought two of them! Even the chicken was on sale! 4 chicken breasts for $ 9!!! The store even put up a sign to limit 2 per customer.
The store was clean and the staff was friendly. Nothing out of the ordinary to note here.
Overall, I’m definitely shopping here for groceries.
