I’m on the fence with this place, I want to like the food, but there is just something that puts me off each time I try to eat from here.
I love Phở, but they add something to the broth that just doesn’t taste right.
The staff is friendly, but that’s not enough for me go back.

Initial review based on take out.
Showed up a bit early based on the time supplied by the website when we placed our order. Really fantastic lady behing the counter tells me it will be a few minutes — no big deal.
During a little chit chat, she proceeds to say «I hope you like my food». Don’t know why, but this really made me feel this was a family run operation and that they are proud of their quality. She also said «if you have time, come in and eat here. Food more flavourful when at the table».
Well, kind lady, your food was awesome! Had won ton soup, spring rolls, pad thai and a vermecelli dish. All were fantastic! Will absolutely go again!
Note: She also said they bought the place 10 months ago (april 2014 i guess). She said the remade the entire menu.

Much improved!
Been here a few times in the last month, and must admit… The food definitely had improved since new management took over…
Finally, a good vietnamese restaurant this side of Barrhaven.
Phở is a must at this place, although their vermicelli or rice combos, together with bbq meat are also great choices! Don’t forget to try the pork spring rolls… They are awesome!
