Ordered chicken pad Thai. Chicken were dry. Noodles overbooked.

An oasis in a desert of suburban mediocrity. Start with a reasonably priced beer or a great glass of wine while you enjoy the warm atmosphere. Check. Tasty but modest appetizer, even non-oily spring rolls. Check. The chicken pad Thai is as good as the other tips suggest… or any stir fry you can put together — the combinations are endless. They have proper BBQ beef and pork too. Choose your level of spice on a scale from 1 – 10. Very generous portions promptly delivered. Check! Service is always excellent, staff knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

We stopped in here the other day for a bowl of phở. Now I’m no phở connoisseur but I’ve had many phở and this one was pretty good. The broth was well balance and full flavored. Service was good and staff friendly. The place was pretty packed at 1:30pm for lunch. It’s a small place do if there’s no seat, they do takeout! The menu is long and varied, from phở to curry dishes to sushi. The prices were also reasonable at $ 9 for phở. My only nitpick is there were too many noodles in the soup. I personally like a bit more broth but that’s just me. We will return here for sure for dine in and takeout.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ottawa. The food is great, the service is fantastic, but the prices are a bit high. Whenever we go there, I order the chicken pad Thai and a chicken fried rice — both dishes are delicious. They let you pick your spiciness. I tried 12 the last time(which is the highest the offer) and it was good! It was spicy but not so spicy where it ruins the flavor of the food. The service at this location is beyond amazing. The waiters are always near by to help you and the food is made extremely quickly from when you order. The price is a bit on the higher side, especially for dinner time. For example, a pad Thai would set you back about $ 15. Most places that can be had for $ 10-$ 13. So it’s not much more expensive, but still expensive nonetheless. Overall, I would recommend this location to a friend and I will keep coming back here as long as the service and food stays consistent!

Service and ambience were excellent. On the other hand, the food just wasn’t very good. We started with the calamari and tempura. The calamari was rubber with a heavy breading that crumbled apart even before we could get it into our mouths. It came with a wasabi mayonnaise that had obviously sat long enough to develop a discoloured crust on top. The tempura… well, the tempura wasn’t tempura. They took some vegetables and shrimp, crusted them with panko, fried them and threw them together into a soggy, greasy, mushy horror bowl. We also ordered the sushi duo for our mains. The texture and taste of the tuna, salmon and yellow tail were indistinguishable from each other, spongy and unremarkable. We were served great hunks of meat, more than a mouthful each bite. They could have taken the time to slice the sashimi finely and present it well. The rice was also unseasoned, cold and hard. Just bland sushi and sashimi. The crème caramel dessert was a nice touch but the lacklustre appetisers and mains really showed a lack of finesse. Other restaurants at this price point make it work well.

What’s not to love about Phở? That yummy broth. Those white rice noodles. The pepper slices. The lime wedge. The spices. The beef. All good things if you ask me! Is this the best Phở I’ve had? Gawd no. But this is the best Phở I’ve had in Ottawa… it’s the only Phở I’ve had in Ottawa, and I’d come back.

My husband and I Just finished our meal at Phở Thi and we are not pleased with this place. The service was very slow(it took them 15 minutes to get me my hot saki) and the temperature of the restaurant was about 10 Celsius. They had a small convection heater to heat the entire restaurant. The Tom Gum soup was too sweet and the Thai Curry had a strange artificial flavour to it. We prefer Suk-a-Thai in Bells Corners over this place. We will never come here again.

What a nice place! We went there early in order to get a table because it is next to a movie theatre and can get really busy with a lineup out the door. The décor was ok, nothing really special and it is a little smaller than it looks(huge mirror at the end makes it look twice as big). The menu was quite varied and the food was delicious. It is not as intensely flavoured but that is to be expected since they seem to be trying to be all things to all people. That aside the food was very good, everything was very clean and the service was prompt so I will be back again!

We love going here. They’ve got a very good menu. The south west spring roles are great. All of the entrees can be as hot as you like(scale of 1 to 10). The chow neon is great.

Phở Thi Fusion is a strip mall spot, just a couple stores away from the movie theatre. This makes it a perfect and atypical spot to get your fill before hitting up the movies. It’s a lot nicer on the inside than the outside. Not that the outside is bad, but you would not expect to walk into this contemporary and interesting of a space. We all ordered some phở but the options go way past that. You can get Thai, sushi, Chinese, basically anything Asian. For apps we got spring rolls and rice paper rolls. Both were quite fresh and came with great accompanying sauces. The spring rolls came perched in a martini glass– I get it, but it’s a little bit trying too hard. My order was the chicken noodle soup with spicy Thai sauce, rice noodles, chicken and shrimp. I am no Phở-pro but I found the soup to be very good. It came out with your standard lime, bean sprout, and thai basil. The broth was great and had a spiciness that we could handle but would surprise at times, hitting the back of your throat. The noodles, chicken and shrimp were all perfectly tender. I appreciate the tails being taken off the shrimp! Basically don’t want that to slow me down. The service was decent, a bit clumsy at times. For example, clearing the appetizers also meant taking my soup spoon– quite needed for the phở! There were a couple other snags but we still had a good meal and made it to the movie on time. Phở Thi Fusion– I’d do it again if I were in the area.

Not bad food and service, but for the prices I’ve had better for much less. Not my first choice.

Great food, service. Too bad it’s part of a big-box mall, but otherwise great.

There is one thing to say about this place is that the service has always been excellent. I mean really good. The atmosphere is perfect for a business, family or those romantic dining experiences. The sushi rolls and sushimi is very tasty. I also really enjoyed the Pha Thai. I would say on average it takes about 30+ minutes from order to receiving your food. A reasonable amount of time for dinner conversation but hard to hit that movie unless you tell them ahead of time.

Don’t let the rating fool you. It’s a nice enough place but I eat Asian food often and I don’t know if they are catering to the local market or not but the food doesn’t have enough true Asian flavor. The décor is great, atmosphere is OK but the service from some of the staff is hit or miss. I wish staff enjoyed Asian food and have tried all the dished because several of the dishes I asked the server about she had never had … how do you work as a server and not want to or be forced to try all the dished? Anyway that specific day I really didn’t enjoy my order. I would recommend this place if in the area but I would suggest staying away from certain items one being the spicy tomato dish …
