The staff did quite well with the huge lineup of customers they had waiting.

Sadly, this LCBO has gone downhill with their customer service. I remember, back in the«good ‘olé days» when you would walk into a LickBo and be greeted with a hello, and/or staff all around the store at the ready to help you pick the right Pinot Noir for Thanksgiving dinner, or the best butt-kiss bottle of scotch(that you can afford) for your boss at Christmas, but now, at the Riocan LCBO at least, you can count on ZERO service(unless you actually DO find a staff person, and have the AUDACITY to ask him/her for help finding a specific bottle(because the shelves aren’t stocked properly); and you can expect to stand in line for awhile, whether its a Tuesday at 8pm or Saturday at opening– they don’t have enough staff, and they certainly don’t have enough staff that care much about giving you good service. I drive out of my way to go to the Hunt Club location now– even though they also seem short-staffed, at least their shelves are stocked and lines are shorter.

This is a fairly big lcbo and the only one in Barrhaven. The place is clean and the staff friendly. I wish they stocked a larger variety of beer and had more videos in the cooler rather than on the shelves where they are warm. We often stop in at the lcbo in bells corners as their selection is larger even though the store is much smaller. As for wine though the Barrhaven LCBO has a great and large variety. If you are going late Sunday or on a day before a holiday be prepared for long long lines at the checkout. Also the parking lot can be packed in a normal day let alone before a holiday so be prepared to wait and be patient. The parking lot is simply too small.

Our neighbour LCBO(pronounced: LiCk-BO). Maybe not the biggest or best in the city, but it is always well stocked and clean. It always has enough of what I’m looking for, unlike some of the stores downtown where I sometimes have a hard time finding more than one brand of spirits.
