Waste of time. The type of place where white people are not welcome.
Stood in front of counter for 10 minutes with my small hungry child while one server served a family order (no problem) and the other server completely ignored our existence while conversing with a friend.
No other transaction was taking place, impression was they were just waiting for us to leave.
Never return and will advise all I meet not to visit this location

Worth revisiting if you haven’t been in a while — much improved! It is very clean and the chicken is always fresh, not the dried up stuff. They also have donair!
Potatoes are very fresh and not greasy. Garlic sauce is fresh and tangy. They are generous with the toppings too. The only thing I didn’t care for is the glowing pink turnip (usually a sign of too much brine/salt for my taste).
Service is good and friendly. Appears to be under new management since the majority of the other reviews were written, so it’s deserving of another visit.

One of my favorite shawarma spots in Ottawa. They make a great chicken shawarma sandwich which is both moist and flavourful. Service is friendly and always with a smile. I must admit the only thing I ever get here is the chicken shawarma sandwich because it is is so delicious, but I suspect the rest of the menu is just as good.

First time trying the shawarma here upon a recommendation from a friend.
We ordered the chicken sandwich trio and the tuesday special (sandwich and pop).
To my surprise, the chicken was very moist which I find is rare in shawarma since it sits out all day roasting. The potatoes were fine.
My only complaint was the garlic sauce, while it tasted average, it looked disgusting.
When I was telling the server what toppings I wanted in my sandwich, in my head I was thinking «lots of garlic sauce», but I couldn’t find it. When I told him «garlic sauce», he took a spoon and dipped in a tray, which I thought was mashed potatoes. I’ve never seen garlic sauce so thick.
Again, while it tasted fine, I couldn’t get over the fact of how gross it looked.
That’s my only complaint and I’ll probably come back once in a while.
