We came here with a Groupon. We were afraid it might be an overpriced meh food(as many Groupon deals are), but we were glad we were wrong. The food was fresh, tastes were unique and yummy, and service was excellent. 5⁄5 would come again with or without Groupon. — Rice wrap(aka salad roll) had a kick of fresh basil and mint; very refreshing, and we would have eaten more if there were more just to taste it again. Different from the relatively bland stuff at a typical phở restaurants. — Nice presentation of all the dishes. Perfect service, polite servers. Our water was always refilled immediately. — Very interesting twist on typical North American phở. Broth had lighter(less meaty) taste than most other phở places, but they add… I think white pepper… to it, or something(minty, not cumin but that family), that really stimulates the nose. It’s not MSG(totally different). It was such a unique taste in phở, and it worked so well. Also, the meatballs were handmade and not like the rubbery stuff in other phở places. I think maybe the peppery soup taste is from the meatball seasoning.

A cozy little place, surprisingly well decorated for a family small restaurant. Their Quan Phở is to die for, they serve Thai basil separately, so while you drop the leafs into your phở, it gains the flavor. Among appetizers, I recommend a BBQ squid– well cooked, but at the same time very juicy and full of flavor. Our regular spot once in a couple weeks.

Whenever I have a sore throat, runny nose or other flu like symptoms, my soul craves phở. Yesterday I was hoping to get some on the way home from work and stumbled upon this place. Only one Unilocal review and a restaurant void of diners almost deterred me from placing my order. So glad I took a chance! Excellent phở consists of delicious broth and fresh ingredients and mine had both. The broth was fragrant and tasty, not too oily which can happen easily. I ordered the phở with veggies and appreciated the clarification that it was cooked in beef broth. I asked about tofu and was offered it at no extra charge, which I thought was very generous. The veggies and herb were fresh and crisp. I also ordered the shrimp pad Thai, which was excellent, and the mango salad, which was very good. I loved that the sauces were all on the side –that way I could control just how much to pour in. The price was right. All in all, a great experience and I’m sure I’ll be back very soon for my phở fix!

It’s easy to miss it, but look close because the food is fantastic and well worth the search! I discovered Quan Viet by accident at lunch one day last week and have already eaten here 2 more times. It is sort of like a gourmet phở place and everything looks like it was assembled by expert hands. The taste and price is right! This would be a great spot for a date too!
