I discovered sasloves not long ago, but very quickly it became a «place to go» for anything meat related. They have some of the best selection in the city. Fresh, local, and very reasonably priced. My wife and I stopped shopping for meats at the big box grocery stores a while ago, and honestly there isn’t anything in the west end even remotely close to what sasloves has to offer. Staff is awesome and super friendly too. I highly recommend this place to those who care about what they eat.

these are guys are great, I stopped here for their double cut frenched pork chops — some of the best and well presented chops in the city. I bought 14lbs of chops… maybe cost we $ 35 all done up, very reasonable. they have great service, great meat, and lots of variety if your looking for anything different. enjoy

How else can you describe Saslove’s other than it being carnivore heaven? There’s an impressive selection of beef be it local, organic, or even the Highland breed which owner Joel suggested that my sister pick up for Father’s Day for my brother-in-law. Amongst the usual suspects there are other eye-catching meats such as elk and wild boar, as well as a good selection of fish. With such a great selection of delicious animals and many other foods, and great, friendly staff, I can see why my sister and her husband are long time Saslove’s customers/

Solid butcher shop at what looked to be roughly 25% cheaper than the one in the market!!! They have a lot more visible pre-made items here than the one in the market. Bacon regular $ 3.99/lb here and it’s not on sale! How can you not love that when it’s cheaper and better than some of the garbage the supermarket tries to throw at you. Please don’t tell the guys at Epic Meal Time, I don’t want Saslove’s to run out of their bacon supply. On top of that they carry Putter’s pickles! You know those massive delicious pickles at Schwartz’s in Montréal? Yup, in a frickin jar!
