My wife and I are voracious readers. We chew through at least a book a week (and my wife sometimes goes through a book a day!). So, we are always on the lookout for good local bookstores. I discovered Singing Pebble one day in a small strip plaza of hip places along Main Street. I went inside and was… a little disappointed. I thought it was a more mainstream bookstore and learned, right away, that it is focused instead on health, healing, women’s studies, that sort of thing. It also sells jewelry, and other «healing» type products. This kind of thing isn’t my thing. But, if it is yours and you are looking for more spiritual/​health books, then Singing Pebble might just be for you.

Singing Pebble Books reminds me of a scene from a story: the shop front is small, but the amount of stock is rather large. I found a good selection of texts on parenting and spirituality.
The front counter is actually a display case for some very pretty pieces of New Age jewelry.
The best part of my shopping experience is that the books were sold at the lower U.S. dollar price.
