Had their signature burger w/poutine(cheat day extravaganza). Had to say I am often disappointed with burgers but not today the esthetics as well and taste were great. Paired it with their 7 craft beer taster and that too was outstanding. Service was stellar recommend it for all. Great service and atmosphere.

Mediocre chain brewpub serves adequate standard bar food and decent beer variety at prices slightly higher than you will feel happy paying given the subpar service. Typical franchise atmosphere, okay for drinks but easy to do better elsewhere.

This was one of the best lunches we had in Ottawa. Gastro-brasserie, micro-bistro, craft-pub, whatever you want to call it, this is a very creative and delicious spot for good beer made in-house and some very good food, most of which finds a way to incorporate beer in it somehow. We had the French Dip and the Brasseur Burger(with maple beer sauce –hello!!) and both were outstandingly flavorful and good value for money. And in both cases I have to give a shout out for the bread that was used in both dishes. The dip had the most amazing baguette style bun that was light and crispy without being hard, and the burger used a bun that was just the right consistency that absorbed all the juicy goodness as you are, but still had a firm enough outside to make handling it easy without it being tough to chew. Clearly someone is paying attention to these things and it pays off big time. The space is fun and lively with the brewery visible from the floor, and the service was quick and friendly. Definitely in the list for anorher visit.

Honestly I don’t know what anything else is like on the menu. I always get the lamb shank recommended from my boyfriend and it’s all we ever get. He gets the wings as a starter too and enjoys them! But I can’t recommend the lamb enough it’s out of this world! Also the strawberry daiquiris are to die for!

After a great bike ride, we stopped in for lunch. We had white and blonde beers in the 18 once version accompanied by the Lille and Venitien flamcooken which were simply outstanding. Service was very good and price very reasonable. We’ll definitely go back.

If you’re coming for beer, then it’s easily a great choice. Their menu breaks down the different types, and the server is happy to explain anything you’re confused about. I grabbed the IPA and then the Blonde — extra $ 4 and you get two pretzels with horseradish/French mustard, great pairing. The food, as mentioned before, is fairly lacklustre. The lamb shank was not too special — a little dry but still good. Mashed potatoes and green beans had the same impression. Atmosphere is nice, beautiful patio view.

Didn’t have the beer, so maybe beer lovers will have better luck. The food was unsurprising because it looked boring on the menu, looked boring on the plate and tasted boring. It was a big group of us and it was a table full of really uninteresting food. The server ran with the theme because she seemed bored, too. If you’ve got good company and not really out for a dining experience, this place might fit the bill.

Late start to dinner, so we headed out towards Sparks Street in search for a restaurant that was recommended by the valet in our hotel. We found this restaurant by accident instead and are so glad we did. We sat outside and it was a cool evening with the city skyline as our scenery. We tried the Lille Flammekueches and it was so delicious. Thank you to Sabrina for the great service and the food/beer recommendations. She made our dining experience fun and very pleasant.

Stopped for lunch with my son while in town. Had the braised pork shank. Needed a little more spice or smoke to be similar to German haxen. Son had the shrimp and sausage penne. Great size for him but would have been tiny for a fat guy like me. We had calamari for starters. THISWASTHESURPRISE. Freshest squid I have had in years. Overall good quick quality.

A reliable chain. The Montréal outlets offer free peanuts in the shell which is a nice touch. Beer is very good, service always(I’ve been here a half-dozen times) always good. Food… Depends on your taste. Just had the tuna sliders, they were excellent! The pizza(flammekueches) could use a little more punch but are pretty good. Can’t complain about the burgers at all. It’s a fun crazy busy place if there a hockey game on… Go Habs or Senators! It’s one of those ‘make it like you need it places’. Bring a friend, your significant other, the gang, or come alone, it always works! Oh yeah… Great wi-fi, too

Good food. Good ambience. Decent prices. Good selection of beers. Beer cheese soup was great, as was the dessert(a waffle with ice cream & their own beer — caramel sauce)

The restaurant was huge and very open. We sat upstairs in a booth, and they had several rows of long tables set up for the Sens/Habs game. Despite having TVs everywhere, it didn’t feel like a sports bar — people were excited and cheering, but it never got so loud during the game, that you couldn’t hear the person across the booth from you. None of us were Sens or Habs fans, so this was perfect. We decided to try out the«Metre of Beer»(I appreciated the Canadian spelling), assuming that they would be sample sized. Nope. Not full pints, but probably ¾ pints…10 of them. I didn’t have any food(altho it looked good), but as far as the beer went… Brown — My favourite. Smooth, hard and full of flavour. Like a delicate slap in the face. White — Almost as good as a Shocktop or a Hoeg. Very refreshing. IPA — We had a Pale Ale and an India Pale Ale. The IPA was fantastic. Had a real bite to it, but still flavourful. The PA exceeded even my IBU limits, with very little substance to back it up. Blonde — Nothing to write home about. Void of any of the hints of fruit I would have expected. But not a bad beer. Amber — I was not a fan. It bordered on bitter to me, without anything to balance it out. Being a fan of 60% of a bar’s beers is doing pretty well anywhere. And having the option to try all of them(for cheap! My buddy and I split it under $ 20/each, for 50oz of beer), was awesome.

We had our birthday there and we loved the beer, food and service. The server actually wrote«happy birthday» on an empty bill cor our friend. Jt was cute and sweet. It was very crowded on a saturday night, you’d better make a reservation. Beer cocktails were a hit.

Went in for lunch and liked the view onto sparks and the brew pub look. The staff were courteous and prompt. The food was a laugh. I ordered a flamm and needed to go for lunch again afterwards. Really 3 brewers? If toppings are so expensive charge a dollar more and actually put some on the otherwise bare naan bread.

Was in here for lunch today with my family. It was packed! There were office lunches and parties everywhere! I was glad that they could fit us in. We were seated upstairs which was nice I ordered the fish and chips and it was pretty good! My family shared the nachoes and a steak&mushroom flat bread pizza thing with a cool name. They were both good too(I snagged some! :D) Of course I tried their beer! Given the cold weather I went for their Amber. It was pretty good, I would order it again but I’d want to try their other beer first! I would recommend, I will go back! I took of a star(I wish we could give .5 of a star or I’d give them 4.5÷5) for the service. It wasn’t entirely great but they were packed. So I understood.

After reading so many bad reviews… I was very hesitant of coming to eat here but my cravings for sauerkraut beated me. Well, I paid for not listening my fellow Unilocalers. The service was not too bad… I was just a little impatient that my drink was not being filled frequently. The atmosphere is nice and upbeat, very nice illumination and the tables are well distributed. The food… nothing like I expected. The pork schnitzel was just a fried breaded pork loin with no flavor, I added a grill ham and it was literally a 1⁄16 of an inch slice… I could see through I think. The sauerkraut was Ok, nothing to brag about. For the price… The portion was too small. Would I come again? … no way. Next time I’ll try the Bier Market restaurant.

I have to say that despite the many(many) not too favourable reviews for this place, I actually didn’t mind it all that much though I can see that one’s experience may depend on what they ordered. FOOD Case in point, having lunch here last week with two friends, one ordered a burger, one ordered their sauerkraut, and I ordered a steak salad. While I didn’t try the burger, I have to say that if I ordered it I would have been disappointed with the size as there wasn’t much on the plate. The sauerkraut however was a full dish, like my salad. Taste wise my salad at least was middle of the road. STYLE/AMBIENCE Well, to me at least, this place doesn’t disappoint. It’s bloody huge and has a nice look to it.(I wouldn’t want to know how much it cost to build it). SERVICE I would say service was pretty good. Our waitress was attentive and promptly refilled my drink without me needing to ask. VALUE Not much to contribute on this. Prices weren’t cheap, nor were they expensive. — So, would I go back? Actually, I probably would. If you’re in downtown Ottawa, there really aren’t that many good places like this to eat. That being said, if I wasn’t downtown, I don’t think I would go out of my way to go here.

Came here to catch the end of the Patriot vs Bronco NFL game. The food is ok at best. I had the Italian Flammekueches which is not much unlike a flatbread pizza. My problem with it is that it was served luke warm which became cool a few minutes later. I like my food served to me hot and steaming. My wife had a chicken sandwich which she describes as barely passable. The beer was the highlight. The Blonde was very good. Not much open at 9pm on Sunday night.

I have been eagerly awaiting the opening of T3B. I pass by by almost every day and the gleaming copper kettles and eye appealing décor. They finally opened yesterday, so it was filling up quickly as we arrived at 11:40. We were seated and reviewed an excellent looking menu. Now comes the time when the the inexperience starts to show. The service was very slow. If its busy when you go, do not order the sampler flights. They had run out of glasses so we were on hold with no drinks for quite a while. The food even took longer to appear. The food was enjoyed by all but is was after 1:30 by the time we left. I will give T3B another visit but I will give them some time to iron out the opening jitters.
