A great restaurant that specializes in burgers. A good selection on the menu and the ability to pay in Canadian Tire money for the crappy tire burger is pretty ingenious. The price is a little steep for burgers but it’s still a good experience nonetheless.

I am very sure the burgers are amazing here. If only I don’t order the stupid tower of rings first. I get so full that I bring home the burger. So I end up judging the burger the next day cold. I give the burger a 4 out of 5 cold. I can only wonder how good it would be when it’s hot and juicy. Oh yeah! This place is like a threesome in a dirty motel room !! All day baby !!!

A very unique aesthetic and the restroom is no exception. A big deep sink made of a metal box flowing w lots of water unlike those sinks that just drip a little bit. The washroom is tiled nice and is kept to high standard of cleanliness. The stall is always clean and given lots of room for the person inside. I’ll be it is not a big washroom but for the space that is provided it is kept in pristine condition. One stall and one urinal and one sink. No paper towl but the hand dryer is full of power and does the job. General comments: The food is quite great too. My fav starter is the sour cream and bacon poutine. It’s a lot of fun ordering here even if your vegetarian or vegan they have lots of selection with all sorts of different combinations for burgers. The root beer float is great. And I’d say the only beer worth getting is the Samuel Adams. Always had great service. Many of times very friendly. The look of the place is very nice. You get your soda and juice in measuring cups so the serving are nice and big. The best is during the warmer season they have a garage style door for windows that open big and wide through the side of the restauarnt. You can good in and out right through the window! Fun time, enough selection for everyone and good bathroom. Gets my full recommendation!

I don’t come to Ottawa all that often but when I do, I usually come here for lunch. You really can’t go wrong with the burgers, fries and shakes here. Their menus selections are numerous so everyone is bound to find something they like. I really enjoy the sweet potato fries and onion rings they have here and my favorite milkshake is definitely Peanut Butter! Service is pretty friendly and noise levels are not as high as you would expect.

Great burgers and poutine. Wrecking balls are cheese-injected tater tots wrapped in bacon and fried. Pretty good. Waitress was ultra-friendly. Décor and bathrooms were fun, too. A highlight of our ottowa visit.

Stopped in for lunch one Saturday afternoon after the Outdoor and Adventure Show at the EY centre. A group of 4 plus a bebe, we were seated right away, even though there was a very large birthday party in the front of the restaurant. We all ordered from the lunch menu, which was nice bc the burger was smaller than usual(which i cant ever finish in one sitting) I had my fav Sk8er Boy, who doesn’t love peanut butter on meat!!! Our server was very nice and was accommodating to some dietary restrictions from our party. He grabbed us a booster seat for the little one with us, and all of the staff were very kind and courteous to my girlfriend breastfeeding — giving her a booth for privacy. Overall, great experience, I love the Works!

I love the works. Great variety(understatement of the year). Cool atmosphere with lots to look at and can make as a great conversation starter. The service has always been thorough and prompt. Only problem for us is they don’t have chicken fingers on the kids menu, we would go more if the did. This I my favorite location so far.

The works is always my go to spot when I want a good burger. They have millions of burger toppings to chose from as well as patty options(beef, chicken or veggie). The atmosphere is very casual kinda like a construction zone with light bulb salt and pepper shakers and measuring cups as drinking glasses. Beer selection on the other hand isn’t the greatest in my opinion. But if you’re looking for great flavours and cool staff you won’t be disappointed.

The Works may not have the best burgers I have ever eaten, but they are certainly the most consistent. Their food is always freshly made, tasty and in reasonable portion sizes. Some of their burger options are a bit over the top, but they do have a good variety of standard and exotic fare to spice up your burger. The poutine is good, the milkshakes are great, and the tower of onion rings is perfection. I always try a new burger option when I’m there, and it has always been interesting. I definitely recommend stopping in. The only downside I can think of regarding this location is come dinner time on the weekend, it is always busy with a 15 – 30 minute wait time.

I have been to the Works in Toronto 4 times and this location 2 times. I love the Works, their burgers are great, my favourite is the First Date burger, which has Mushrooms, Tomatoes, Garlic and Brie cheese. It is fantastic! I also tried the Big Ben Plus last time I was here and I also enjoyed that! It has Montréal smoked meat, sauerkraut & swiss cheese. My only complaint is how small the place is, I feel like everyone is sitting on top of each other in there!

Another good experience. They’re doing a «Baconism» promotion right now with bacon appetizers, desserts, and, of course, burgers! The burgers were fresh and just right. Fries were cooked perfectly. As with before, there is still the issue of having too many tables poorly positioned/laid out as they are in the restaurant, to the extent you’re basically eating in a long 10 – 15 person harvest table with very little space between each other! Service was good.

I had the Cracker Jack. As a tourist I am impressed not only by the motto here but also the burger, also had a bite of my nieces’ poutine, really good. I also admit that I dig the industrial design… fun!
