It’s easy to like this place. The Phở is delicious and fresh tasting. The spring rolls were an excellent side dish to the Phở. For $ 15 I left full and happy. . Oh, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Harder to find than you think. Maybe a larger beer selection, but that’s just me being picky. This is a great place for Phở.

I had chicken pad thai. I thought it is excellent! My friend had Phở. I like it! It is not blend as I read in the previous reviews. Portions are fair. Price is right. Maybe the portion for the phở is slightly smaller than what you get in China town…

Extremely mediocre. Bland, bland, bland. Phở? More like faux. Spring rolls? Greasy and bland.

Only eaten here once and wasn’t disappointed. My partner and I were craving phở and stopped in to get an order to go. We both ordered a medium and were happy. The quality was good for the price and the amount was great for the price. I will be going back again. I’m thinking I’ll have to improve their rating once I’ve been in a few times.

Just Ok. Had BBQ pork vermicelli(Bun). Meat was quite fatty but cooked well and veggies were fresh and crisp. We were a group(12) and service was horrible. Dishes arrived one at a time and teapot was not refreshed.

With temperatures in the –30’s I had a craving for Phở. I braced myself for the several blocks walk and made my way to Truc Phở. The interior is quite clean and tidy. Their take in phở is to give you the freedom to select the types of meat to add to your broth and noodles. Choices are the standard fare. Rare or medium beef, brisket, tripe, tendon, chicken, beef balls. The basil, lime and sprouts were fresh. The basil fragment and the lime nice and juicy. The large was not as large as other establishments I’ve been too. The noodles were good and plentiful as was the meat. The broth was the weakest element and it took a bit of tuning with hoisin and siracha to develop a good flavour. I’m glad I went and it was great to fill up on such a cold day. Would I go back. Yes. But I think I will try something else off their menu. The rice and noodle dishes I saw looked quite good

I can’t speak to the phở here, but I order the vermicelli all the time and think it’s fantastic — big portions, well-flavoured pork/shrimp. Ask for extra hot sauce!

«Meh. I’ve experienced better» is what I feel for this restaurant, thus the two stars. If you want phở, this is not the place to go. 1) The small is baby sized 2) A small is a whooping $ 7.99, medium $ 8.99, large $ 9.99 3) Very little noodles, very little broth, very little meat — they seem very stingy with their ingredients… it’s a bit sad 4) I love tendons… but what I got hardly looked or tasted like tendons. In Philadelphia I would get huge slabs of tendons half the size of my fist. Here I got really thinly sliced tendons, sliced in long rectangular pieces, kind of like tripe. 4) Broth was very average, watery. Any one who loves phở knows that the broth is the most important part of the dish. you go wrong with the broth, you go wrong with everything else. 5) Not authentic in appearance or taste Check out the pictures I’ve uploaded if you don’t believe me! As for their other food, the fresh spring rolls are average, a bit small but not terrible tasting. Their peanut sauce isn’t half bad, but I usually eat my food with hoison and sriracha, anyways. Also tried their Satay. Very average as well. The service is a bit slow, but nice people. The owner is usually there. I was surprised that he was collecting the tips off everyones table as soon as they left, including mine. It makes me wonder if my server got a part of that share… . Overall average restaurant with below average phở.
