Swiss Deli

I’ve been here for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and sometimes just a coffee and a bite on the go. I’ve never been disappointed. The closest I’ve ever been to disappointed was when I came for (my fave! the best ever) chocolate chip cookies to go with my coffee and they didn’t have any so I went with the carrot cake and it was really awesome too. Not sure if they make the desserts in house but regardless you can’t go wrong with whichever you choose. I generally go for the same few items but even when I order others I’m always happy. The menu items are all amazing as well. You can grab a sandwich or perhaps schnitzel or goulash or whatever awesome special is going on. Breakfasts are good too. It’s not the largest menu ever but there are always specials that change and between that and the main menu it’s big enough that you have good choices and everything on the menu is done well. The place is always clean and well-​taken care of. The couple that I believe runs this place are so friendly, sweet, very cool and you can tell they really care about their food, customers, and love the town and all the ingredients that come from it. I’ve never had a beer here but have noticed a few cold ones in their fridge before which is a nice bonus and will keep in mind for the future. They have the best smoothies I’ve ever had. Sometimes I can’t decide which kind I want and am offered a special blend of everything instead. It’s really yummy! I’m not really sure but I believe they use local ingredients too. I think this may be a reason why I’ve only noticed the smoothies to be seasonal. I think the jam might be local as well? It’s definitely not the store-​bought stuff like the little cheap packets you get next door. The bagel and cream cheese w/​jam is a breakfast item but they’ve always given it in to me with a smile regardless of what time I’ve ordered it which I totally appreciate. The prices are reasonable especially considering it’s Pemberton and you can’t beat the service, the quality, or the taste. I always make sure to leave a tip since they deserve it and they kindly say thank you for that as well which is rare. I love this little place. I highly recommend.

Excellent, home-​made Breakfast and Lunch, like Wild Salmon on Fresh Rolls with Ceasar Salad make the Swiss Deli a «must stop» in Pemberton!

We are thrilled when we go to Pemberton and look forward to Swiss Deli’s home cooked meals. We come here and have choices of fresh local food and food cooked the Swiss Style. Thank you both for such great service!
