This is a simple tea shop with an outgoing friendly owner. It wasn’t super busy on a rainy, cloudy Saturday. The service was quite quick. We ordered the crab dip with garlic bread. It was tasty and ooey gooey. The owner regularly came by to check in on our teapot in case we needed refills and asked us if we needed anything. I had a good experience at this place, and good conversation with HYacinth. I would recommend this place.

Not sure about all the low reviews but I was pretty satisfied with the results. The lady who served us was just so nice and friendly. It was like eating at grandma’s place. Started off with a cappuccino. This was the only disappointment. The drink was not even warm because too much milk was added. Still tasted okay though. Cheese cake was on the menu for $ 7.50 — I was so scared that it would be old store bought cheese cake but when it arrived I knew it was home made for sure. Plus I confirmed by asking. It didn’t even look like a cheese cake at first glance. The top is layered with finely chopped pineapple. I thought it would be sour but there was none of that at all. The bottom cream cheese layer was super creamy and not overy sweet. It was the perfect cheese cake and a unique combination which I enjoyed.(Must try — 5 stars). Scone with cream and jam $ 3.25 — very yummy light snack Ice coffee to wash it all down was very refreshing especially when having it outside on a nice sunny day.

To be avoided… $ 24.95 for a set of afternoon high tea, it really wasn’t worth the price. just so we all be clear, this is not HIGHTEA. Don’t be fooled. I came as a group event so therefore, our set afternoon tea was pre-ordered. At that price, you would have expected something of that value. In Addition, the tea is not loose tea but tea bags ewww… cups were not clean(still had lipstick marks) and the place wasn’t opened even though it said it was supposed to be open at that time Lots of people go to that area for the beach and the tea shop located in a very small quaint little town. The area is just a-okay but the harbourfront is pretty small. If you have never been, yes, please go take a look for a visit but nothing to rave about.
