This was quite the find in Port Hope. Right down by where the boats are put into the water, and a great view of the lake. Lovely wrap around porch. Food was great too. My hubby had the fish and chips and I have the chicken parm sandwich with the soup of the day, both yummy and such great ambiance. Best of all — they have a little shop in the back that sells tackle for fishing PLUS Kawartha ice cream… LOVEKIC —- Death by Chocolate and Moose Tracks are hard to beat — so creamy. They can put the ice cream on your bill. They are licensed too and serve wines from Prince Edward County. Check it out… you won’t be disappointed. PS – the chef/owner came out and had a chat with us. Very nice all around!

Lovely little café situated down by the water in a pretty little uncluttered spot. We had one of the best clam chowders I’ve ever eaten. It had a perfect consistency — chowders tend to be overly thick, this one was luscious but not porridge-like. It was loaded with flavour and clams. Windows along the side and back provide great views and the service was quick and friendly.
