A little tricky to find this as it is kind of hidden behind the road, but take your time and you will find this gem. The tasting room is in a wonderfully restored apple barn, right behind the main barn. I come back again and again for their Gewürztraminer, which I think is the best in the County. They consistently manage to showcase the best of this grape, with a classic Alsace profile. Of course, that wasn’t the only wine I grabbed when i was there. Check it out yourself and find your favourite!

This winery has a certain rustic je né sais quoi feel about it. The surrounding grounds are very quaint and the big open barn is open to patrons to sit in and enjoy the view. I liked their Riesling and Gewürztraminer. The winery is actually for sale, so if you’ve got a few millions sitting in the bank – this could be your chance.

This winery has a really nice Chardonnay and Riesling. Some of the other options are not as good as others, but to each his own. Nestled between two neighbouring wineries, By Chadsey Cairns has an unassuming air about it. The couple who run the winery are super nice and more than helpful when it comes to explaining each wine. Everything about this place is relaxing. It also feels like a small operation that has been lovingly cultivated into something special. There is no restaurant here. There is no gift shop. The wine manages to speak for itself.
