Good solid poutine. Having a dairy free option is so rare which is why this was so good for me personally. You can customize everything about it, I added a fried egg and some caramelized onions and it was awesome.

Came in on a whim and in need of comfort food! The interior design is very comfy brick-warehouse-wood-chic. We liked it. I created my own poutine, which was a really cool feature. I also loved that most of their gravies were vegetarian. Food came fast, beer was great, and the service was super sweet. Definitely would come again.

Poutine and draft beer, what more could you want? They do a ‘build your own’ poutine with more than enough topping variety. I built a Mexican-inspired poutine with guac, onions, smoked meat, curds and the pepper gravy chased with an ice cold Pilsner. Awesome!

If you’re looking for poutine, and struggling as much as we were, you’ll be happy to stop at poutineville. With parking on the block, it’s hard to say no to a quick drive over here. Everyone who wants poutine will be happy since you can order original style, create your own, or try some concoction poutineville has dreamt. I went for the fire breather with chicken wings on top. Everything I wanted and none of the calories I needed.

On my trip to Quebec City I wanted to try two types of poutine. First — I wanted to have the run-of-the-mill normal poutine. I tried this at Chez Ashton and was quite pleased with their product. Hungover from a night of partying? Starving student who wants an unhealthy lunch? — Chez Ashton is perfect. The second type of poutine I craved was a gourmet poutine. A dish with all the right fixings that left my palate yearning for more. Look no further than Poutineville. This is one of the few places where you can a.) choose the cheese b.) choose the way you like your fries and c.) choose all of your toppings. It’s phenomenal. I would say that a mainstay for your order should be to go with the house special fries cut — there is nothing better than these fries. It’s a great mix of crunch and soft textures. It’s perfect for a poutine and I left thinking — why aren’t all poutines like this. I give them a 4⁄5 because of the service. Our waiter was good but it just took forever to get a beer. Plus, when the original poutine order came, he brought regular fries. I’m glad I asked him to change it — which he did very swiftly. I will return!

We ordered take out. Two house speciality poutines made with crushed fried potatoes. Yum!!! This was very very good poutine. The texture of the potatoes and ratio of cheese curds to gravy was perfect.

A taste of Montréal in Quebec city. So glad to have this branch close by. For the poutine, you can customize your dish, choosing from a variety of fries, sauces and toppings which adds up to one hundred something varieties. The drinks are good too. For the moment I’m stuck with their NEGRONI which is better than the ones I’ve had in Italy.

The environment is tip notch. Service was great! Menus were given in English and the server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If I lived in the area I would be a repeat customer!

Je me suis naturellement dirigée vers Poutineville.

Holy crap! The poutine here is top notch. The Poutineville is their signature dish, and you won’t be disappointed. The Godfather also was a hit. Suggestion: order the junior size, and share.

Poutine. When we think about this food, we always associate this to Canada. Poutineville was probably the best poutine I’ve had in Canada, even though it is a chain restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is really nice as they have a pretty cool little bar area. I ordered the House Special poutine, which comes with fried potato chunks, all topped with gravy, cheese curds, and pulled pork(I think). The flavor of the gravy was good and the potatoes were fried perfectly. However, Poutine is what it is… pure drunk food. Eating this as an everyday main meal will certainly kill you from salt and fat. The cheese curds are probably the healthiest part of the meal lol. 4 stars.

Best poutine ever! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Also, the build your own poutine that they offer is the greatest thing ever invented. Basically, if you can think it, they’ll make it! It was«ladies night» when we went so all women got 50% off cocktails and sangria. The drinks that we got tasted great! For three people, the night out cost less than $ 50. Really sucks that I don’t live near here, I’d be a regular for sure!

Well, thank you very much, Poutineville, for giving me one more food to crave…3400 km from my home, which I’m guessing is just outside of your delivery area! Cheese(from several options) melted over your choice of sauce, meat(s) and veggies, all piled on warm potatoes(hand smashed, traditional or sweet potato fries) — this is the epitome of comfort food! In addition to the food being really, really good, it’s really, really good food that EVERYONE can enjoy! My husband loves Poutineville; he had Le Montréalais with tons of Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and Montréal smoked meat over the smashed potatoes(be sure to ask for a sample of these amazing little nuggets – but be prepared that you likely will never again be able to enjoy regular fries!) And I love Poutineville — and that’s the amazing part — I can actually really eat here too! I am so accustomed to just automatically ordering a simple salad at places like this, that I was completely shocked when I was shown that there are lots and lots of things on the menu just for me! And encouraged to create a wonderful dish that would accommodate even the most ridiculous(my assessment, not theirs!) of my allergies, sensitivities, dietary restrictions, and preferences(of which there are many) — it’s just not a problem here! So, I went for it, I chose gluten-free and dairy-free poutine sauce, mushrooms and bacon, over sweet potato fries, and topped with vegan cheese. Oh, my, and now I know! It was a warm, yummy bowl of pure goodness! Not only is the food delicious, I just cannot rave enough about how wonderful the service is. Everyone is welcoming, helpful, and efficient. This location has just recently opened and is all polished and new. You can sit inside or on the patio and enjoy the gorgeous weather(in June anyway), and there’s free wi-fi(so you can post photos of your glorious poutine concoction on Unilocal!) The only complaint I have is more about my travel schedule, I’m quite sad that it will be an entire year before we are able to return. So stop in, eat, laugh, and keep them busy until we can get back!
