Boston, MA

Nice quiet small-plates restaurant in a great part of Quebec City. Beautiful décor and great wait staff. Several good vegetarian options available, including the incredible Burrata, Watermelon and Feta salad, Mushroom Pot Pie, and Truffle Fries. Place has a great day wine and cocktail menu — I’d highly recommend the Aristocrat (gin, Rosemary, champagne). 2 – 3 plates per person is the right size unless you’re unusually hungry.
For dessert, we got the churros which were equally delicious.
My only issue with the place is that the size of the plates is small for the price. However, the quality of the ingredients is very high which probably makes up for this!

J’étais de passage à Québec et je cherchais une place pour déjeuner. Je suis tombé sur ce restaurant. Belle place et mon plat était de bon goût. Par contre, j’ai un peu de mal à accepter le prix qui va avec l’assiette. Pour avoir connu d’autres endroits plus spécialisés pour les déjeuners, il faut admettre que le rapport qualité prix n’etait pas équitable. Mais n’ayant pas eu la chance d’essayer leur carte du diner et du souper, je né peux juger cette endroit uniquement par leur déjeuner.

Nous avons adoré ce charmant restaurant. Formule intéressante pour le menu et surtout c’est très bon ! Christian notre serveur a été à la hauteur par ses conseils et sa gentillesse. Le décor est aussi fort jolie.

We had dinner here after a very long travel day from California to Quebec. The waiter explained to us that the plates were small — tapas style. We each started out with a green salad and then we shared Paella which was excellent, sliders, pot stickers, fries, and dessert. It was really good and a fun experience. We would definitely come back again!

Table was a very nice find. Ordered the 3 plates for $ 25, sun-wed special. And jamon iberico. Everything was seasoned well. The 3 plates were: octopus with chick peas (though I think it was squid), cherry tomatoes w/goat cheese (super yum!) and lamb chops.

Okay tappas. Some had taste others had no taste. Convenient to the hotel we were staying in — barely good for the first night. Too expensive for what you get. Would not go back. Service was less than good, understaffed.

Je suis aller découvrir le restaurant de l’hôtel PUR à l’occasion du Grilled Cheese Festival. Le décor, numéro 1. La nourriture, number 1. La trilogie de Grilled Cheese était fabuleuse, malgré ses petites portions. Il faut dire que le plat est juste 10 $ et est servi avec frites et salade concombre yaourt. Je dois dire que j’ai aimé les trois tous égaux.
— Le Jambon iberico, compote de tomates et fromage tomme de Kamouraska.
— L’éffiloché de bœuf sauce BBQ, fromage Riopelle et roquette.
— Chutney de canneberges, fromage fou du roi et sirop de pomme.
Pour finir, j’ai calmé ma fin avec une entrée de tartare de bison. Je dois avouer que je lui ai trouvé aucun défaut. Ah oui, si vous vous demandez c’est quoi les petits cubes de gelées qui sont servies avec, bien c’est de la gelées de cèdres.

I quite like this restaurant, but it has some drawbacks hence the 3-star review.
Of course the reason why I keep coming back is because the food is great. For lunch they’ll include a free soup du jour or salad when you purchase 2 tapas or more. Some of my favorites are: cauliflower soup with crab, bison tartare, forest mushrooms pot pie, steak frites (one of their more substantial tapas) and the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese is especially delicious with its smoked bacon and truffle garnish, I have to eat it whenever I go! If you’re still hungry for dessert, their churros are perfect. They are served warm with spiced chocolate and caramel dipping sauces.
On the other hand, the prices are a bit high when you consider the small size of the servings. Some of my friends don’t like eating here because they feel like they don’t get a lot of food for what they pay for. A person with an average appetite probably has to order 3 different plates, so you can expect to pay $ 30 and up per person (excluding drinks). Service is A-OK.

Very nice restaurant in the Pur Hotel. We had a nice lunch after checking in.
Amazing Gazpacho with mellon and hint of mint. We shared some crispy fish and
and reuben sandwich, both ok.
A great place for a snack. The huge windows overlook a church where many people linger, very safe. Many boutiques surround the area.

Tapas style restaurant conveniently located inside our hotel. 3 dishes recommended per person. I was impressed by some of the food and felt it was a fair value. Hip ambiance. Do NOT miss the ceviche.
