This is now called the Bourbon Grill, it’s under new management and is great! The New Orleans menu, décor and music is fun, food is fantastic and service is spot on, attentive without being intrusive. We will be back

I waited a while after the opening of this place to try it, mostly due to the bad reviews from friends. I had to try it a few times to have a solid opinion… this sports bar is very touch and go. During my first visit, the food was great(excellent burgers) and the positions were perfect. The waitress was friendly and always kept the next drinking coming. I was impressed. Then everything changed, the next visit, most of our group’s order was messed up and our drinks were empty for way too long. I was really wanting this place to be good, because it’s conveniently a few streets away from home but I’m disappointed. I will keep giving this place a chance, crossing my fingers that something changes!

Horrible service(not the server’s fault). Worst part is the owner sat at the end of the bar drinking and watching a hockey game. Never got up.

I was looking forward to finally going here. When I did I had the nachos with a couple friends. I was very glad the waitress said it was a huge helping. Nachos were ok. Had a margarita and it wasn’t very good in my opinion. From my experience I don’t think it would be a place I would recommend others go to

I will never go back. Went for wing night. Wings were on «sale» for $ 7.00. They were not good at all, very bland and cold. I ordered a caesar. I could see though it from it being so watered down. I waited 20 mins for a new drink. The waitress didn’t even know what a caesar was. All in all, It was gross.

Called and asked if they could accommodate a hockey team of 20 teenagers in the restaurant for a team meal after our final game! She advised us — no problem. We got there and there were 3 tables for 4 people and then another for for 7. Not exactly a «team meal» but that was no big deal. One waitress for all. Some ordered appetizers, some did not. Some got appetizers after their meal. Some at my table got meals(salad for one, barbeque for another) and were finished eating an hour before others got their meals. No theme in who got what when. Tables of four all got their meals at different times. Folks who came in an hour after us eat and left before us. Total of 2 hours and 15 minutes to get the last of 20 meals. Unfortunately the last person to get their meal was our bus driver so the rest of us couldn’t even get our meals to go because he needed time to eat. When I went to the bar and complained she blew me off and it wasn’t her fault. Then the insult continued at the till as not even a 10% discount was offered. Nothing. When I reminded her I had called and asked if she could accommodate our group on a Saturday night, she assured me it wasn’t a problem. No manager to speak to either. What a crappy experience. Will no longer recommend it for the food as the first two times I was there food was good. This time the ribs where tougher than shoe leather and the baked potatoes where not even cooked.

For some stupid reason, Unilocal won’t let me delete this review. Brad’s Pit no longer exists.

Stopped in today for a few beer and wings… Service was ok, but hands down… Worst wings I have ever eaten… The place needs some atmosphere… New and clean but seems like hanging out in a warehouse… Not for me.

Went to Brad’s pit for supper the other night and wasn’t really impressed. The food was good but the service was lacking. Started out in the pub and got no attention so we moved over to the restaurant area. Once we got sat down we waited even more. The waitress acknowledged us but it was a while before we got served(guess we must have got there on her smoke break). Once we got started the service was good. I had the hot turkey sandwich. I also tried the signature BBQ sauce it was pretty good and bad quite a bit of heat. All in all not a great experience not sure I’d go back.

So, I waited a while before trying this joint out, but I am sad to say, it didn’t really impress me much. The facility is awesome, everything is new and it’s got tons of room. There’s a restaurant side for minors, which is a smart move, and the upstairs banquet area will be a plus for them. One thing I’ll say right off the hop is, the service was outstanding. Meg kept me fed and watered and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. But to the food. I ordered the dry rub wings to start with a Rutted Elk beer. This part of the meal. was awesome. Great tasting wings, and the spice blend they use is just the right mix of sweet and spicy. On to my main meal, and I chose the ½ chicken and ½ rack ribs. The dark meat was good on the chicken, but there was so much sauce that it overpowers the meat. I love a good sauce, but it was really thick. And the ribs were OK, but JUSTOK. I was expecting more smoke on them, but sadly it was not much, if at all. I’d go back for the service and the wings and beer, but thats about it. Still searching for some really good BBQ in Red Deer.

First off let me give a little pre warning here : If you are looking for a sports bar with pub food you will most likely not hate the place. Having said that if you are looking for traditional southern smoked BBQ Brads Pitt is not for you. Service took quite long to acknowledge my existence so much so I had to move tables to be in direct sight of the server station and still took another 10 minutes after I moved Food ½Chicken: dark meat was ok white meat was super dry their bold bbq sauce on top was good but couldn’t help the dry meat :( Ribs: good smoke nice flavor unfortunately tough and dry Brisket: very disappointed about this one, the brisket was chopped and sauced, meat was hard to judge its flavor and tenderness due to excessive sauce. The sauce was decent just felt like it was hiding the dryness of the brisket As a pub grub dish it works and wasn’t bad by any means just not traditional southern BBQ Slaw: generic out of a bag slaw no dressing? Caesar/Greekish salad: just another side salad wasn’t awful though just very basic Fries: Frozen bagged crinkle cut McCain fries. They were fries … That’s about all I can say Beans: these were actually the highlight of the meal pretty tasty very basic sweet flavor profile. This place ain’t for me but I urge you to go try it for yourself and support a locally owned business none the less I have a snobby taste for BBQ so please don’t let my review spoil it for you the food is still great and reasonably priced just not the southern BBQ I was hoping for

I tried the pulled pork sandwich, and it was amazing. It came with delicious baked beans that had a sweet apple, and smoke flavour. Fries were good, but the coleslaw was pretty bland. Dessert was a let down, apple pie was served cold, and ice cream was freezer burnt. Our waitress was excellent, kept our drinks topped up, and was very friendly. I will definitely be back, and can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. I’m a sucker for house smoked meat, and can’t wait to try the wings!
