I hate to be bashing on my hometown but I do not like the Richmond hill public library. As a university student I do a lot of studying. The internet offered at the library is so slow, takes 1min for a web page. That may not seem like a lot but when you have to write a research paper it makes it almost impossible.
Other than the wi-fi I find it too crowded. I will much rather go to my university library

This is really the Oak Ridges Moraine Library, one of the four Town of Richmond Hill’s library,
I didn’t expect that it is inside a strip plaza with a storefront entrance. And I didn’t expect that it is in such a busy plaza sharing the parking lot with No Frills.
The deco is really dated… those flowery bench cushions are such an eyesore.
Though their travel tour guides has the best collections I ever seen in a library, almost all copies are the most current ones!
Free WIFI access only for library card holders…
