They have better service when they were first opened. They try to make their bread and buns fancy and creative so they can sell them at a higher price. If you have not tried them, you might want to try them, but the kind of bread and buns that people want to have daily are the simple ones, not those ‘special’ ones. That is why the Kam Do Bakery at the Richmond Brighthouse station, which sells the regular flavours of bread and buns, is always crowded with people while there is always not much people at Breadlicious, which sells the irregular flavours of bread and buns. The service of Kam Do Bakery is not that good, but because they are selling what most people want, that place is always crowded. It is not so much about the price, it is about what people want.

The owner is super nice! Had a 2 for 1 sale on buns, picked up a few and the range in flavour and size is huge! Enough to fill us up instead of dinner.

We got the taro natural yeast bao and it’s huge! Their taro baos kind of reminds of the famous taro baos from 85 Degrees Bakery in California BUT with less filling and contains pieces of cranberries in it. Would I come here again? Sure, if I had a taro bao or other Asian pastry craving.

Stopped in after my trip to Daiso and picked up a couple of buns to try. I really like their purple yam buns. Something I haven’t seen in other bakeries and not too sweet. The purple colour does throw you off a bit but it was tasty. I didn’t get a chance to try the other buns as my family ate them all when I went to work. They have a variety of healthy breads made with different nuts and fruits but it wasn’t for me. Be aware that this is a pricier bakery than say Maxim or Pine House.

New Bakery that opened up in Aberdeen Square. It is modest with limited selection. Got some taro rolls. Cash only, very limited English.
