Caffè Artigiano

I ordered an iced coffee but the staff forced me to take the Americano coffee, which they made it by mistake. And the worst part was they said they ran out of coffee to make an iced coffee. How is that possible? Come on… You’re a freaking coffee shop. Well, I ended up refunded and left with anger.

We decided to go check out the McArthur Glen Outlet since it recently opened. This was the only coffee place around that area so we stopped in here for a small snack and coffee.
Their coffee and baked goods are delicious — I got their chocolate croissant and coffee frap — perfect for the scorching day. Here’s a tip that will make your chocolate croissant taste 2x better — ask them to heat it up. The heat brings out the chocolate flavour and buttery pastry goodness. I know what you’re thinking (eek all that fat .!) but hey, even if it’s not heated you’re still taking in all that butter anyway so why not make it taste awesome.
The only thing I hope they would improve on is their service. We ordered politely and did not rush them despite the 20 minute line up and wait for drinks. However, we were treated as if they would rather us not be there. When we got our change, they threw the money and receipt at us. Furthermore, we were asked what we wanted very rudely — the girl did not smile, was inpatient and threw our food on the counter tops as well. We were planning on giving them some tips but this little experience obviously changed our mind.
I would go to another Caffè Artigiano location but until they improve their service here, I would likely not come back here again.
