Imprint Plus

We recently ordered name badges from this company. They are the kind you can print at your office but have them look more like the engraved ones that need to be pre-​ordered. They have a good website geared towards e-​commerce.
I originally emailed and asked if we could see samples. I never heard back but I decided after some time that I would take a chance that the sizing I thought was correct would work.
The order arrived very quickly which I was happy about. However, the first time you order badges, they charge you for the software that helps you make the badges. Your order comes with a CD that you need to load onto your computer (one license). That is fine except the software will not load onto a PC that runs Windows 7 or anything newer. There were no instructions included on their website as to how to troubleshoot this nor did it list system specs before ordering. We ended up having to email their tech support who promptly responded and sent us to a link where we could get an updated version that would work with our operating system (which isn’t cutting edge or anything, its been out 4 years +). I asked the tech support why this wasn’t included and they didn’t know, forwarded our question on and we never heard back (its been several days).
I like the product and the fast service. However they communication skills about the software were lacking. A simple set of instructions on their site (that can be easily found) or included with the order would have prevented resources on our end being used to trying to get things to work and would have created a better customer experience.
