Staff seemed untrained they were very unsure of their jobs I talked to at least three girls working and they had no idea about procedures their product They also blamed a customer for putting at least 7 of the same dresses on the sale rack? Lol are you Serios they just don’t know their jobs and blamed it on customers Too bad the store is adverties as a factory outlet because it’s the same price as any other guess store in Vancouver don’t waste your time going here

This is the second time I have been here. Both times it’s been a disappointment. Why call it an outlet which would lead me to believe that I was getting quite the deal and that is why I am way the hell out here in a part of New West I did not even know existed. I have actually gotten better deals at Guess on Robson & Metrotown. The service here was pretty non existent. Staff too busy planning for the upcomming weekend, then to say«hi ! How’s it going tonight? «or «if you need a hand with anything — let me know– I am over here ! « Nope, I was on my own. Clothing selection looked like the discontinued reject stock from years gone by with slight discounting — way over priced — way ugly ! Where am I? Oh yes– Guess ! I see a mountain of handbags ! I get slightly sweaty palms, thinking SCORE !! But noooooo. Alas, not to be. The bags were not only barely marked down — they were butt ugly ! What the hell? This is crazy ! It was pretty hot inside and the low level florescent light flicker was making me sweat. As I went to leave — the jewelry display caught my eye. Surely I could find something there ? Found a set of 10 or 12 shiney dark silver almost pewter in color bangles! 18.95 was price, I saw the bag they were in was ripped and I asked if they were discounted, ’ why yes! » The register only asked for 3.99! SOLD ! I managed to find a second set at the same! Awesome! Presents for my girlfriends ! But no ! This was not worth going to if you think your gonna get something really cool, or save the big bucks . I’ll stick to Guessing Downtown

Not what I expected. The Guess store in the mall is loud and obnoxious and I can’t stand it. This factory store was actually pretty pleasant. The music wasn’t too loud, nor did it make me feel as though I had walked into a club. I know… I’m getting old curmudgeonly… The staff were friendly and helpful, so that was a big bonus. Apparently the style of denim skirt I am looking for no longer exists anywhere because I guess it isn’t in fashion. I came to Guess as a last resort, but it all worked out for the best, even though I never found the skirt I had in my mind. I did find a great deal on some nice pieces of clothes, including 2 pairs of jeans for $ 80. Score. I also appreciated the fact that they had plenty of jean options that weren’t skinny jeans, which I just can’t do. There were some tops that were just my style(read — never what happens to be in fashion) and everything was reduced and then on sale on top of the reduction. While still not hella cheap, I didn’t feel like I was being gouged by the big label. And I actually found lots that I like, which I find pretty hard these days, because most of what is in style I find repulsive.

If you like Guess, check out the factory outlet. It’s extremely busy on weekends, but that is when they usually have their best reductions. I have picked up handbags as cheap as $ 25, Guess jeans for around $ 40, and loads of cute tops as well. Most of what you find in there is also in the normal Guess stores, only its reduced. I haven’t found their premium denim line in there yet, but hopefully they will get some of it in eventually. Well worth checking out.
