Such good Indian Food & fast! The veggie pakora is the best I have had. Not too much chick pea flour so the veggies really come out in this dish! Highly recommend.

Came across this place after shopping for lunch. To my surprise this place is actually pretty good. I order the meat thail, I got to choose two meat items. I had the chicken tikka masla and lamb rogan josh. Food was very fresh and good portion. Service was good. A nice lunch place if you are in the area.

I usually don’t write a review but had to do it. Food is fair at best and service is terrible. Waited 30mins for 4 samosa that were reheated. Tasted like dirt. The basically forgot my order and did not apologize. Gave this place two chances and will never go back!

Ordering was interesting, they seemed to be some confusion on the drinks. Fish pokora was fresh and hot, great texture and just enough spice/heat for fish. Services could use some polish but that being said was great meal for the price. Will be back!

My coworker was craving for Indian food so we decided to go Naan bites for lunch. I wasn’t expecting much since it’s fast food and I personally stray away from any fast food/food court places. Conveniently situated at Queenborough Landing where most of the workers within 5 – 10 mins distance come for lunch or those who go there to casually shop at the outlet. There’s so many options. Meat curries, veggie curries, bowls, wraps and small bites. I was recommended the Meat Thali which consists of rice, naan and two curries of your choice. I chose Butter chicken(of course!) and Lamb Rogan Josh. My coworker had the chicken biryani bowl and an extra side of naan. During lunch hour, they were super packed and soon after we sat down there was a long line-up to the door. Luckily most were for takeout because there were no seats left! It did indeed take a while before we were served. I’d say it took about 25 minutes. There’s no self-serve counter for cutlery or water which I think they should consider. I had to request for water and cutlery twice and I kind of had to get back to the office in time. I enjoyed the butter chicken but the lamb was a tad bit too spicy for me. Ever since going here, I’ve been craving for some good Indian food. When I do make it back for lunch, I would try their naan wraps and other side items like roti or samosa.

Great food but WAYTOOEXPENSIVE! The prices shown here as of today(03.03.15) have gone up by more than 10%. So now a large butter chicken that is enough for 1 but not for 2 will cost you almost $ 20. and take-out prices are the same. Too bad… they’ve lost me as a customer.

Simple and authentic Indian food in Queensborough Landing. I especially like the samosas from this restaurant. They are baked, not deep fried. there also a fair amount of veggie dishes(6 choices). I love the tiffin thali combo for which you get Naan, rice and 2 thali for $ 9 or $ 10.50.

strategically located @ Queensborough Landing since no other Indian nearby. decent indian food but feels it is more Westernized. trendy casual place, clean, not a true sit down restaurant.

Not something to rave about but it’s decent, clean and that’s how I like it, food was good too but not something I would add to my «got to go again» places… Just saying.

Just had dinner here tonight and we ordered the curry bowl and chose the butter chicken. All in all it’s a good fast food restaurant. I wouldn’t say that it was the best butter chicken I’ve had but the Naan bread made it all better. definitely a must try! I say meh !

Today was my 3rd time ordering from this place. The first couple of times the curries were so tasty that I was pretty much licking my dish. Today’s fare was not good at all. Not sure if they changed a recipe, but it was the worst Indian curry I have had. Blah.

Stopped in to this establishment again. I think there are new owners since a couple of years ago. The young girl at the front could use some instruction about customer relations and friendliness. The restaurant walls are beat up, paint chips, damage to the drywall, marked up wood trim, chairs having large pieces of fabric torn away. Oh, and if you like loud rap music, well this is the place to go. Improvements… start with a make-over, remove the goofy fridge on the counter, the old newspaper stand, and change the music… at least to something Indian for ambiance. Food is descent, so at least 2* for that. If you can close your eyes while walking in, get your order, and make a swift exit, perhaps 3* is warranted.

This place used to be good but I can’t recommend it now. I ordered the lamb curry a few months ago and it was very chewy and the spice was like a butter chicken spice and today I had the fish curry and the fish was thin, dry and overcooked hard. The spice wasn’t in the fish it was just on the surface no marinating at all tasted like overcooked fish was just stirred into the sauce which also tasted like butter chicken sauce. Two strikes, not good, I’ll try the butter chicken some day in the future since that seems to be the special sauce for everything. I hope it isn’t there third strike. Hopefully it’s a nearby«butter chicken» restaurant at least.

I’m starting to worry that my average number of stars on reviews is starting to skew a little high lately. But I love Indian food, and for fast food of any stripe, Naan Bites is as good as it gets! (If you do want to know if I hate something, it’s Tim Horton’s. Bleah. The only time I’ll go to a T-Ho’s is when it’s a choice between that and contracted-corporate-cafeteria swill with the mean old lunch lady. There, just so you know I’m not spouting sunshine and rainbows in every review.) Meanwhile, back at the Naan Bites … Christine’s hungry after a bike ride to far-flung Queensborough, and was delighted by the fact that the chicken wrap was made fresh to order and served steaming-hot on a metal plate to catch the inevitable fallout from messy face-stuffing good times. And it was a spicy thing too, loaded with lovely peppers and onions, and what’s this? Hot lettuce bathed in sauce? Hmm, who knew that could be tasty too! Almost everything on the menu is under $ 10; I love naans and curries in all forms; and if if the care taken with the humble wrap is an indication, I must go back to try it all.(I’ll even endure their Top-40 dance music soundtrack for such good, cheap Indian food.)

The veggie biryani is amazing. Whenever I feel like I deserve to treat myself on my break I come here! The service is always super friendly(I think they must recognize me now since I work in the complex). The food is always cooked fresh to order, and the portions are HUUUGE! I’m always super satisfied when I come here! I also recommend the veggie samosas. it’s only $ 4 for 4 peices and they are baked instead of fried. Very tasty and delicious especially with the chutney dip :) Yum!

Fast Indian food with sit-down service? Yes, please! This restaurant is great if you don’t have a huge amount of time but want a decently priced meal in a small, but comfortable setting. This is our go-to spot for a rainy day weekend outing for this little family of three. Being that both husband and I work full time, quality time is at a premium with our little one, and working outings around naps is a tricky science. We love to come here on the weekend. I can’t comment on a lot of their dishes as we order the same thing every time; we like a small variety of finger foods that our 13-month old can handle. Enter veggie pakora bites, tandoori chicken bites, and a double order of naan with a bowl of butter chicken sauce for dipping. Yeah, that’s what got me hooked on this place. They let you order just the butter chicken sauce as a side. Hello. I’m in love! The Pakoras are so crisp, the tandoori chicken beautifully tender, the naan piping hot fresh. Everything here tastes ultra fresh, more so than in some traditional full service Indian restaurants I have visited. Seriously. The food overall is not immensely spicy, definitely on the milder side, but it is absolutely full of flavour! That suits me just fine; I have never requested more heat in my food so I can’t comment on whether that is an option or not. But there is some heat to the standard order, and my baby loves it! Kitchen staff that bring your food out are friendly; one in particular is very nice and always offers to fill up my baby’s sippy cup with water before I can get to asking. I will agree with another reviewer in that the girl who took my order hardly says a word to you. Perhaps she is shy, she doesn’t seem blatantly rude, but when you have a job working with the public, you need to be at least able to smile and say hello and thank you to your customers. That is the only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars. Final comment: delicious, quick Indian food at a good price!

I honestly didn’t know that you could make bland Indian, but they did. It needed. salt? Something? We both had wraps and they were just. mediocre. The naan had a great texture, but what was in it? meh. More to the point, for the price I paid, I could have hopped over to a full service restaurant and had a delicious meal. The girl behind the counter acted as if it pained her to even speak to us. I don’t know if she even knows how to smile. The nice lady from the kitchen who brought our food was great though. The décor is nice, and it seems pretty busy. I might go back to try the Tiffen lunch combo, since perhaps their«saucier» entrées are better.

They have stuffed Naan. Enough said. Thanks to Janice F for this Queensborough joint. After a terrible experience at the Wok Box, I was in desperate hunt to find solid lunch options. Who doesn’t like fresh, soft naan? I never seen a place do stuffed naan before. I sampled a piece of chicken stuffed naan. Delicious. The Tiffin combo bites was recommended which comes with rice, naan and your choice of 1 meat and 1 veggie curry. I opted for the lamb rogan josh and paneer makhani. Order took about 10 min to arrive. Lamb was super tender with great use of spices. Great value at $ 7.99. I was stuffed. Come bite some.

Hurry Hurry Come for Curry, all the Curry Done! Well that’s not quite true, all the curry isn’t done, but you should hurry and come get it. This is Indian«fast food» done very very well. While at work, the desire for a curry lunch struck me and I remembered seeing this place in my travels. It was well worth battling Vancouver drivers over two bridges to get here. Their Tiffen lunch special is FANTASTIC value. For ~$ 8 you get a choice of a meat curry, a veg curry with rice and naan. The Lamb Rogan Josh was tender, juicy and flavourful. with well balanced spiciness. The naan here is also some of the best I’ve had. Soft, tangy with the right amount of chewiness. And they give you lots of it! Despite the generous serving I didn’t walk away from the meal feeling like I consumed a metric ton of ghee or with a case of Bangalore Belly, so bonus points there! The staff here is friendly, and there is a steady flow of customers at lunch time so I’d assume the turn over on food is pretty good. If you’re in the area and feel like a curry, this is your place.
