I’m a bookworm at heart. So it’s no surprise that I can entertain myself in this store for a good while. It’s like a treasure hunt each time I enter this store, seeking a new prize for my eyes to read. From Best sellers to children’s books to Archie comics to Cookbooks to history books to romance novels, this is a place that will delight any reader. If you ever have any books you don’t need to hang on to, you can bring it to the shop and the owner will decide whether or not her shop needs that addition, if so, you can get money back for selling your book or even trade for one of her books! Good on recycling and sharing bookie love. As I finish this review, the smell of old books lingers in my hair, so I leave some Unilocal-ise words, visit this shop my book nerds!

This is the little book store I talk about now and then. My son liked to go here for his books and I like to go through the piles of books in search of that title you’ve been looking for but can’t remember what it was. They do have books on Steveston and fishing as well. Nice little neighbourly place, been here for years.

Vancouver history lovers need to hit up this store at least once! Where did they find a «Canadian Guide to BBQ» cookbook and a book highlighting all of the great performers who have rocked the likes of the Commodore(1929 – 1970) and the Orpheum? Cluttered shelves, complete with romance novels, a robust kiddie section and the regular best sellers, this shop has the perfect mix of nostalgia, quirkiness and that smell of old books– a sure sign it’s got lots of hidden gems lurking on the shelves!
