Had a fantastic experience with Walter, a total contrast to some other reviews. He was genuine, pleasant and seemed to really enjoy his work. I was referred by Moore’s suit shop around the corner. It was cozy and cluttered, but not disorganized. I told Walter I needed my pants done very soon for an upcoming trip and he offered to let me sit in and watch him work on them. I thought it would take at least a day or two, but he had both pants done in 15 minutes while we had a great discussion about his passion for chess. Really enjoyable service — you don’t get that kind of personable reception from shops much nowadays. Will definitely return for any future tailoring needs.

Worked some sort of cash deal with a lady who works at Moore’s which is across the parking lot to have «Walter» alter the suits off the rack — my mistake. Wasn’t cheap, considering I had to pay in cash. Within three months (after wearing the suits probably twice each) the stitching/alterations on the sleeve of the jackets were unraveling and each coat was a mess. If it was one sleeve on one suit, sure fine, my bad. But it was all four sleeves on both jackets. This guy is a rip-off and not a «master tailor» by any means. If you peak into his «store front» its a hole in the wall with clothing strewn everywhere — the guy is a hack and I would not spend another cent in this boutique of misfit crap. NEXT!
