Worst service ever. Got to the bar at 9:52 on a Saturday night. It was slightly busy but there were 6 waitresses on. No one came to the table till 10:02. The bar manager was too busy talking to his friends to care what was going on. The rest of my friends arrived and all of a sudden we got service. Later on we ordered plain cheese nachos. They came with onions all over them and tasted like they had a bag of salt poured on them. I sat there for 20 minutes while other people at my table were getting drinks and even when I flagged the waitress she wouldn’t stop to get me another drink. Worst experience ever.

Had a great time with friends last night. We ordered drinks and food and did not hear of any complaints. The service was a bit slow. Some orders were placed but never came. All-in-all, a great experience.
Head to the back with the comfy outdoor seating! Will definitely be back again.

This seems like a pretty good place. We grabbed a quick lunch to-go while driving between Niagara and Toronto. He got the club sandwich which was made with real chicken breast (and not deli meat), and I got the veggie wrap. Both were really — especially the veggie wrap with yummy goat cheese to compliment the roasted vegetables inside. The fries were also nice and crispy. Service was quick and friendly.

The special on Mondays is $ 8 for any burger including a side. I had the California burger (with smashed avocado and roasted red peppers); he had the Great Canadian burger with maple bacon slices and a couple onion rings. His fries were really good; my house salad was okay. We shared dessert — Beeramisu. It’s like tiramisu but instead of espresso, ladyfingers are soaked in Guinness. It was delicious — nice to share. Service was very friendly and efficient.

We had never been before and decided to try it as everything else around was either closed or had a huge line. I don’t know why more people didn’t come here! They had a great guy playing live. Drinks were very good and all came out in mason jars, which was cool. The food was a little more than we were expecting for a bar, but the quality was also way better than expected. Totally happy with my ‘perfect penne’. After supper we hung around to play pool, and noticed that while the music was quite loud where we ate (we didn’t mind because it was so good), near the back it was very quiet so if we hadn’t wanted loud music there would have been that option too.

Pretty sure its a gay bar. My buddy requested an s club 7 song and the DJ never played it, i was quite upset. We had nachos. Its was a massive portion.
6.6÷10 we will probably come back

I came here a couple weeks ago with a few friends and I really enjoyed it. I didn’t know what to expect but we actually all ended up having a great time! We were debating whether we should go to a club or go to a bar/pub instead and we ended up coming to Gord’s which was actually the perfect choice. I would say that Gord’s is more like a bar, but there was a live band playing and hence a dance floor. So it was great that everyone got what they wanted. The pub people were able to chill out and enjoy their drinks while the club goers were able to dance it out.
Also the beer was good but I mean you can’t go wrong with beer. The staff was friendly and the inside looked pretty nice as far as I can remember (blurry memory). But most importantly the atmosphere was great, which I think makes the biggest different when you are choosing a bar/club to go out to.
If you are in St. Catharines and looking for a nice place to grab a few drinks, I recommend this place.

Gord’s Place was awesome.
I would definitely go here again.
I heard rumours of $ 2.50 beers and I was intrigued.
There was no cover on Fridays and a quick line.
There was an awesome band and room to dance.
There were some red lounge chairs and ikea tables (LOL) at the front window where my friends and I sat.
Drinks were CHEAP!
There was some deal written on a chalk board that made absolutely no sense to me (something about $ 2 extra for a something upsize beer deal). Whatever. My boyfriend was buying the drinks.
I had an awesome time here. Lots of booths and seating which I really liked, but room to dance too and a bar up and down the middle of the place.
Great vibe, cool interior, kind of a sports bar too.
Awesome new place in the heart of downtown St Catharines.

I came down with a friend and was greeted warmly and quickly. A dance floor for those who wish to move their booty to tha rythum, and a bar for those to get their drink on. Oh! They offer booths for wthose whom will dine. Chicken wings and and standard fare such as burgers and fries are just great.
I’m sure the beer is fine, i never hear a bad word onit. I drink gin tonics and just recently have developed a taste for vodka/cranberry.
Highly recommended.
